♫ tiger teeth by walk the moon ♫

Cora scanned the shelves at the bookstore in hopes to find something that'll quell her boredom for the night. Aside from Kelly's birthday tomorrow, there wasn't much else she wanted to do.

She and Greta were still somewhat on the outs - or at least, that's what she took Greta's silence to be. And much of the weekend called for only heavy rainstorms which gave her the urge to do nothing more than to simply relax at home, read a nice book, and sleep throughout what was left the day.

Only, there was another problem. Sexual frustration was lurking in the corners of her mind.

It had been a growing concern that she hoped would've been gone after that night with the guy, but that didn't seem to be the case. Sneaking off to the erotic section way in the back, she bit her lip in nervousness and anxiety whilst her blue-green hues wandered various covers to see which had been the most enticing to join her and her aching fingers tonight.

"See, I thought that was you..."

There was too much familiarity in the sound of that far off voice in the distance.

The smooth vibration running off the baritone of his voice, the suaveness lingering on every word hanging from his lips. It frightened and exhilarated her all at once.

For a split second, she would've thought that it was the horniness playing tricks on her, reminding her all too well of just how good that night and morning had been. But she took a chance anyway. And turning, he was standing there. Brawny shoulders draped over by a leather jacket, kind face chiseled to some damn-near perfect structure.

His eyes, in all of their chocolate-tinged hues, stared at her as though looking into the wicked parts of Cora's soul and wrapping them around his finger.

She almost couldn't help the sudden watering of her mouth. And even more so, was unable to stop the sudden twitching of her lips as they curved into an impulsive smile.

"You?"

"And you..." Said Marcus, smiling with her.

Just like that, she remembered his name. She remembered everything. And that did little to keep her panties dry.

"I promise, I ain't stalking. I just left the barber and I noticed you behind the glass."

"Y- you noticed me?" Cora pondered, her tone no stranger to surprise and bewilderment as he stepped ever so lively towards her.
