It happened again.

While at first she would've thought last month to be a fluke, Julien reminded her of his existence with another text. She saw it as she was eating breakfast while Eli was in the shower. To see that same codeword 'Yellow' again sent a jolt into her system that almost made her too eager to get an Uber and head back to her place without telling him goodbye.

She knew that she'd probably get a mouthful about it the next time they talked. But for now, she just wanted to focus on work. And while she did that, emotionally strain herself with the severed memories of her former lover, then recollect on how it all ended so drastically.

And it was here in this office, just thirty minutes before her lunch break, did Greta feel the most bored and conflicted. For she couldn't quite figure out just how to relay her returning dilemma to both Kelly and Cora. For while one knew most of what had happened a little more than four months ago, the other remained clueless.

And frankly, Greta would liked to keep it that way. But that didn't keep her mind at ease when at the front door of their suite, Holly was standing there, excitedly waving at all three of them. Then, it was Cora who looked on through that glass and asked the shared question with dread in her tone. "She looks frantic, should we let her in?"

Then after, Kelly scoffed before glancing back down to her computer screen. "Not my friend, not my business."

That left Greta to roll her eyes and suck up the strength to get up and answer it. And as she did, braced the gleeful buoyancy in Holly's leap as she hugged Greta first. "I'M IN LOVE!" She cheered, only to then be pried away from Greta's body as she stared at her with uninterested confusion.

"You've only been back in Seattle for a month. How are you 'in love' with somebody?"

"Oh, when you know, you just know. Y'know? Like you and Kelly's man-whore friend."

Greta's face soured to something threatening and defensive before Holly walked off to find the other girls. And just after she gave an elegant-looking wave to Kelly, it was Cora who she delivered the most bashful of greetings too. For it was rare whenever Greta's friends and Cora would be anywhere near each other. And that especially went for her and Holly.

"Little Abney! I haven't seen you since you were cheerleading and had thicker thighs. How are you?"

It took every fiber in Cora's being not to strangle Holly by her own brown locks, as well as Kelly's giggling pull as she held Cora back cautiously.
