Chapter 25

A/N: Ok, so I decided to go ahead and put smut in this chapter. If you're not a smut fan, you can skip this chapter after the first section :) But if you like smut...enjoy :)

  "Ok, so why did you want to learn to play guitar then?" Matt asked as we strolled hand in hand down around a small park that was near by his place.
"Umm, just did I guess. I loved music, and yeah, I got a guitar for my birthday so I learnt to play guitar." I shrugged. "Why did you?"
"Jack actually, he was already learning guitar and I thought it was really cool, so he started teaching me the basics, I asked my parents for a guitar for my fourteenth and they got me one. I'm not great at it, I only really ever learned the basics. I was more intrested in singing and writing."
"I still haven't heard you sing."
"I still haven't heard you play...or sing."
"Very few people have." I chuckled.
"Ok I'll do you a deal, I play and sing a song for you, and you do the same in return."
"Hmmm I don't know." It always made me nervous playing in front of people, I never felt like I was that good.
"Ok how about I play and sing a song for you and cook you a really nice dinner one night, then you play a song for me?"
"Ok, deal, but it best be the best damn meal I've ever had, and after that pizza back there, you got your work cut out to beat that."
"That was the best pizza I've ever had I must admit." He nodded and laughed. "But challenge accepted. Ok favourite song of all time?"
"Futures, Jimmy eat world." I answered almost instantly, it was a no brainer for me, I could listen to that song all day every day and never get bored.
"Good choice, that's an awesome song! Ok, um, what you want to be when you grow up?"
"Musician, like Blink 182, Green day, Jimmy eat world, I'd love to be able to tour and do shows like they do. Failing that, veterinarian."
"Wow...talk about polar opposites!"
"Well, I love animals, so if I don't do music then animals it is."
"Makes sense. OK if you could do anything, what would you do?"
"Go to space."
"You never fail to amaze me you know that?" He stopped in his tracks, making me stop with him.
"What? You're asking, I'm answering honestly."
"Yeah but, just when I think I couldn't be more in love with you, you prove me wrong." He lifted his free hand up to my cheek.
"I'm nothing special."
"Don't say that, you have no idea just how special you are. Alex you're amazing, you know, when I met you, you where just a shy, scared, quite guy that made me fall in love with him in a matter of days. And now...You've changed so much, I know things have been far from easy, and I know the trouble isn't over yet. I know your anxiety, the voices, the depression, aren't just going to go away, I know you can't just change in the click of a finger. I know we still got a long road ahead of us, but look at you now. You're smiling so much more, you're more open, you're more outgoing, you haven't cut in months now, I know your parents made it so you couldn't, but you could have found ways but you didn't. You're stronger, more confident. And you just make me fall in love with you more and more every day."
"I'm only that way because of you, you make me stronger, you gave me something to live for." It was true, he made me want to battle through, he made me want to stand up and fight. I'd never had reason to before, but he gave me a reason to fight, for us. He gave me something to live for.
"Baby, I may have given you a reason, but your the one who finding that strength in yourself. You are the one who's fighting because you want too. And I'm so proud to call you mine, I loved you back when I first met you, when you where the Alex I first met, and if you where still the same Alex, I'd still love you, because my love for you is unconditional, nothing is ever going to make me stop loving you. But I'm just so proud of how far you've come and I'm glad I'm the one who's given you the reason to, but your the one that's done it."
"I love you." I poured every single fiber of my being into those three words, because I meant them more then anything.
"And I love you." He smiled lovingly before he locked his lips on mine, kissing me so soft and sweet, I knew he meant the words too. "Come on, it's getting cold, let's go back to mine."
"Why are we staying at yours again?"
"Because I wanted to have you all to myself, my parent's aren't back till tomorrow afternoon, problem?"
"No, just wondered." I smiled and we headed back to his.
