Alan's POV
"So what are we going to do Alan?" Mike looked up at me, that was the problem being ring leader, I always had to have the damn idea's and answers.
"I'm working on it!" I snapped. "You know, it wouldn't hurt for you all to throw out some idea's once in a while!"
I was angry, I was beyond angry, no one stood in Alan Ashby's way, and ever since those two little punks got together that's all they've done! I had to end this once and for all, I had to put those two little shit's in their place, and their two precious friends too! Oh Alex, you're going to regret the day you ever crossed my path, I'll come up with a plan, and it'll be a good one. It may get me shipped off to boarding school, but if it sets an example that people like you don't deserve to be happy, then so be it.
"I have an idea..." Shayley piped up. "Obviously, Alex and Matt have stomped on our plans to tell their parents. But I've seen it, they're scared, they're terrified about what we're going to do...if we can't brake them up...we'll just have to take one away..."
"Wait...are you suggesting..." Tony's eyes went wide in horror. I knew exactly what Shay was suggesting. "I-I never signed up too..."
"You signed up to all of it Tony!" I growled. "You're either in, or you can join those four...your choice!"
"I-Sorry, I'm in." He nodded feebly.
"Good! Now, which one do we take?"
"The easiest target...Alex." Shayley shot me a wicked grin. "You know, we could use our two other pawns here too...Zack and Rian...take Matt down, and Jack."
"What about Kellin?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Oh...I know how to do that." Mike chuckled, somewhat evilly. "I know something they don't think I know...leave him to me."
"Well, let's get the detail sorted then shall we?" I clapped my hands together, rubbing them. This time...this time no one was going to stand in my way.

Alex's POV
"What if they hate me?" I looked at Matt worried as he straightened out my shirt.
"Will you stop worrying Lex? They're going to love you." He smiled sweetly and kissed my cheek.
"I hope so." I sighed. It was Christmas eve, and Matt had convinced me to join his and his family, with my mum for dinner.
"I know so. I'll be there, your mom will be there, so don't worry ok baby? They will love you! You've already met them a couple of times before. Albeit briefly, but at least we won't have the awkward introductions huh? Well, aside from introducing your mom but that's fine."
"Yeah." I nodded. Thankfully, my anti anxieties had started taking full effect now, other wise, I knew I'd be having a panic attack right now. I was so unbelievably nervous about meeting Matt's family properly. Before it was different, before I'd not had more then five minutes with them, and I was just a friend as far as they where concerned. And now I was meeting them, as Matt's boyfriend. I was scared that they wouldn't think I was good enough for him, that I wasn't worthy to be his partner and that thought scared me.
"Stop it!" Matt chuckled and placed a quick, sweet kiss on my lips.
"Sorry." I mumbled, shuffling my feet awkwardly.
"You and your sorry's, stop it. Now, you ready?" I nodded. "Good, your mom will be here in five minutes and we'll head over ok?"
"Okay. Matt?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
"I love you too baby." He smiled and pressed his lips on mine.

"Alex! It's so good to see you again!" Matt's mum pulled me into a hug, I hesitated a first, but accepted it, hugging her back. "And you must be his mom?"
"Yes, please, call me Isobel." My mum smiled sweetly.
"Well, it's nice to meet you Isobel, I'm Matt's mother, Mary, but just call me May."
"It's lovely to meet you, thank you for inviting us."
"Oh, it's our pleasure, come in, dinner's almost ready." May smiled, stepping out of the way to let us in.
"Hey mom." Matt smiled, hugging her and kissing her cheek.
"Hello dear. Your father and sister are in the kitchen. Would either of you two like a drink? Water? Coffee? Pepsi? Wine?"
"Oh I've love a wine thank you." My mum nodded politely.
"Red or white?"
"Ohh red please."
"Alex, would you like a drink?"
I shuffled awkwardly, honestly, I did want a drink, but I felt too awkward asking. Matt chuckled. "He'll have a Pepsi, I'll get them mom."
"Alright dear. Please, come sit." Matt's mum led us to the lounge and motioned her hand towards the sofa. My mum pulled on my mum and sat us down.
"This is a lovely house you have May." My mum smiled, looking around.
"Thank you, that's very kind of you to say. So, Isobel, I understand you're all originally from England?"
"Yes, Essex actually, we moved here when Alex was seven. His father got offered an amazing job promotion and we would have been fools not to take it. We where hesitant at first, because of the boys, but we knew it was the right decision."
"Boys? I thought you only had Alex?"
Great, now my brother was going to get brought up, just what I wanted to hear.
"We, uh, had a son, Tom, he was actually my step son, but he passed away when Alex was just twelve."
"Oh I'm so sorry." May looked sympathetically.
"It's ok." My mum nodded her head. "It's hard sometimes but you know, life has to carry on."
"Yes, sadly so. So, Alex, Matt tells me you play guitar? How long you been playing?"
My head snapped up to the sound of my name. "Oh, um, I don't know, a few years."
"You know, Matt told us the moment he realized he loved Alex was when he first saw Alex sat in the class room playing guitar, how adorable is that?"
My cheeks went bright red.
"Mom really?!" Matt moaned, handing my mum her wine and me my Pepsi. "Must you bring that up?"
"Oh don't worry Matt, I think it's really sweet." My mum smiled at him as he took a seat next to me.
"So Alex, when did you realize you loved my son?"
I just sat their speechless, I could feel the heat radiating off my cheeks. "Um, well, he, uh, he-he stood up f-for me o-one day. A-and th-that's when I realized. I-I kinda knew b-before, but th-that's when I r-realized."
Matt's mum held her hands over her heart. "Oh you two are just adorable! You know we had our suspicions, but when Matt told us, we where happy he finally did. And we're so glad to see how happy he is with Alex, I've noticed such a big difference in Matt since they met."
"Yeah." My mum nodded. "Matt's really changed Lex too, in a good way. He's happier, more confident. I have to say I think they're perfect for each other."
"I agree!"
