Next morning, Dr Ritu returned. Since Rajveer now knew her identity, he didn't bother talking to her. At 1400 hours, we headed for the camp with our respective mentors. Well, almost everyone. It seemed I had forgotten that Dr. Ritu would be sent with Aalekh since MB wanted time to plot against Raina. I rolled my eyes at my thought.

MN and I were jogging towards the camp when I asked him, "Sir, Major Bhargav humare saath kyu nehi aye? Hume unse bohot kuch sikh ne ko milta," I knew why MB didn't come with us. He was planting love letters in Naina's room that he had tricked Ali to write for him.

"He had something to do, I guess. He'll join us at the camp though," MN answered. "By the way, I liked one thing about you today," he said suddenly

I was surprised. "What is it, sir?" I couldn't stop myself from asking.

"When Cadet Aalekh was told that Dr. Ritu would be his mentor for this trip, you didn't get jealous," he explained.

I laughed. "Main? aur Ritu ma'am se jealous? Hahahaha...no way!"

" Cadet, Dr. Ritu is quite beautiful and Cadet Aalekh is a male," Nair insisted.

I continued snickering. "Apne itna socha mere liye yehi bohot hai. But don't worry, Aalekh is a good guy. Dr. Ritu will be safe," I didn't add more because I knew how MN and MB worked. I didn't want to let them know what my strength was and what was my weakness. MN stared at me silently before continuing on his path.

"Cadet Aalekh, aap mujhse jhut to nehi bol rahe hai na?" Ritu questioned.

"Nehi, ma'am. Apun ke pass ek bund bhi daru nehi hai. Apun ne pina band kar diya hai," Aalekh replied. He knew he had to be careful with her as she was a spy.

"Sach me band kar di? Kitne din huya hai?" She asked curiously.

"Diwali ke ek din pehle se," Aalekh replied.

" Jab apki aur Cadet Rehnuma keep shaadi huyi tabse? Kya unhone kaha tha apko sharab chhorne ke liye?" She asked, shrewdly.

"Nehi, ma'am. Wo paagal to khud pine ki zid karti thi jab bhi mujhe dekhti thi sharab ke saath," Aalekh laughed.

"Interesting," Ritu looked thoughtful.

We reached the campsite a few minutes after sunset. Aalekh and I study the map carefully before we started gathering the stuff. Like the serial, MN didn't help, but I was more determined to win him over.

"I always love it when I'm right," I announced loudly on our way to our location, "Girls are stronger than boys!" I added nonchalantly.

Instantly, Nair erupted like an active volcano. "How can girl's be better than boys? Or stronger for that matter?" He snarled.

"Of course, girl's are better, sir. After all, a girl can give birth to a boy, but a boy can't give birth to a girl," I explained with an innocent smile. "On top of that, human population is still surviving because girls can endure high amount of pain which happens during labor. If it had been left on boys, humans would've ceased from existence," I snickered.

MN growled before snatching half of the heavy stuff from my hand and stomped away. I hid my laughter and followed him.

I didn't tease him after that when he didn't bother helping me with the tent. I made the tent nicely so that he would stay in there and not bother me.

After the tent was done, We ate something small before Nair went to bed and I went out for firewood. Well, I actually went out to hangout with my hubby, but I told Nair that I was going out for firewood.
