Mia's pov
I woke up. The sun from Boggi's balcony doors shone brightly into my eyes.
When I sat up, I remembered that I'm alone in the house with Emilio.
Rebecca is hardly ever home because she's with her boyfriend. Her parents are most of the time out too due to work and running errands.
What woke me up even more was the smell of food.
Could Emilio really be cooking at this time of the morning? Normally he was the last one up.
I threw on one of Boggi's hoodies over me and detangled my knotty hair with my fingers.
When I got to the kitchen I see Emilio flipping a fluffy pancake in the pan.
On the kitchen island before me were not only pancakes but french toast, bacon and scrambled eggs, avocado salad and two empty mugs.
When Emilio turns around with the pan in his hands, his blue eyes light up.
"Oh, good morning." He greets.
"Emilio, you made all of these?" I ask, still staring at all the yummy foods before me.
"Yes I did indeed," He slides the pancake onto the stack he had already made, "Tea?" He asks me.
"Yes please." I take a seat on one of the bar stools at the island.
Emilio starts to boil the kettle.
"So, why...?"
He leans against the counter, "I wanted to make a good impression, even though my first one was not really that good, I just want to show you that I'm not really that of a terrible person. I don't take advantage of girls whenever I get the chance to...What I'm trying to say is, Mia, I'm sorry...for everything."
"I hope this was all worth it because if it's not, then fuck me right?" He motions at all the food.
The corners of my lips twitch into a soft smile.
I shake my head lightly, "Emilio..."
"God, I messed up real bad didn't I?"
"No, Emilio, I forgive you."
His eyes light up, "Really?"
"Yes, really. But don't make me regret it." I squint my eyes at him.
"I promise you won't regret it." He tells me with a bright smile.
During the day we decided to go swimming in the backyard. We filmed tik toks and took a few pictures together.
When the sun started to set, I watched Emilio do his workout routine.
He nearly attacked me when he caught me filming him work out sneakily (in a playful manner, obviously).
We would watch movies till we passed out on the sofa and in the morning we would go get Starbucks.
This is how our days would go while Boggi and Ivan were away on their business trip.
I really got to know more of Emilio. He really is a good person and whatever grudges I held against him faded away more and more each day.
It's now late afternoon. The week had flown by and Boggi and Ivan were coming home tomorrow.
I was currently on a face time call with Boggi in his bedroom.
"I can't wait to finally get home to you tomorrow."
"Yeah, I'm so excited."
"So, how are you and Emilio getting along?"
