Mia's pov

It's the next day. I'm combing out my knotty hair while my mind is filled with thoughts about what Boggi had told me yesterday.

Just on cue my phone rings. I look over at the caller ID and see that it's him.

I slide my thumb across the screen and put the phone up to my ear.

"Hey..." I croak out.

"Hey...Are you busy?"

"Um, not really. Why?"

"I'm outside. Let me take you out."

I walk over to my bedroom window and I see Boggi standing against Ivan's car with his phone up to his ear.

He notices me and gives me a small wave.

I chew down on my bottom lip.

"Okay, I'll be down in a sec." I hang up the phone and grab my small bag.

Dad was at work so I left him a note on the kitchen counter.

I locked the house and walked down the path way to where Boggi is parked.

"Good morning, beautiful." He gives me a cheeky smile.

"What are we doing again?" I ask.

"I can't take my girl out for breakfast?" He ask me playfully.

I roll my eyes at him before climbing into the passengers seat.

At Starbucks Boggi had gotten me breakfast and coffee, he had only gotten him a coffee.

I ate in silence while Boggi just sat across from me, his eyes burning into my soul.

I look up at him.

"You not going to eat anything?" I ask him, breaking the silence between us.

"Nah, I ate already."

"Why are you staring at me like that?"

"I'm not staring, I'm 'admiring'." He sips on his coffee.

"Well, it's kind of creepy." I reply back, playfully.

He chuckles.

"Come on, I'm taking you to my place to chill." He casually says as he gets up from his seat.

My smile fades slowly.

"Wait, what?"

I still felt a bit weird being around all the guys in one place.

"It will be fine, it's only awkward if you make it awkward." He grabs my hand and leads me to the car.

We drove in silence, only the radio playing softly in the background.

I kept looking out of the window. I was nervous going back to the Martinez house.

Mainly to see Emilio.

I look over at Boggi. He notices me looking at him in the corner of his eye and the corner of his lips rise up into a slight smirk.

Well that's kind of mischievous of him.

We then arrived at the Martinez house and memories of the time I lived here flood back into my mind.

I swallow hard.

"Hey, it's okay." Boggi says softly as he wraps his arm around my waist, "Come on." He then leads me up to the front door.

We walk into the house and I already here music playing throughout the home.

We walk out to the backyard and I see Ivan jumping into the pool creating a big splash.

I noticed Uri and Rebecca in the pool as well, splashing at each other under the bright sun.

I then feel a wet body crashing into my back and cold arms wrapping around my body tightly.

"Chica! You're back!" Ivan says in excitement.

"Ivan! Stop! You're wet!" I argue as I try to wriggle out of his tight grip.

He chuckles and let's go of me, "Sorry."

I smile at him, "It's good to see you again." I tell him.

"You too. You look great!" He says as he looks at me up and down.

I do a fake pose, "Thank you."

We then both laugh.

I get a glimpse of Emilio standing on the porch watching us all.

He has a black hoodie pulled over his head but that doesn't hide his black/blue swollen eye, bruised cheek and busted lip.

When he notices me watching him he hangs his head down and walks into the house.

I walk passed Ivan to go and see him but someone grabs my arm.

"Hey, where are you going?" Boggi asks me.

"Did you do that to him?" I ask him.

He chuckles, "It was just play fighting, Mia. We guys, guys lose control sometimes."

Is he joking right now?

"That does not look like play fighting, Boggi."

"So what? You going to comfort him right now? His a grown man, he can look after himself." He casually says.

"I can't believe you right now." I mutter.

Before he can say anything else I rush into the house.

When I don't find him downstairs, I then walk upstairs to his bedroom.

His door is slightly open.

I walk in and see him sitting at the open window, staring at absolutely nothing.

"Hey."

He doesn't turn around.

"I'm sorry about what Boggi did to you."

"Sure you're sorry." He mutters sarcastically.

"Hey, don't pin this all on me." I argue, "I did not ask him to do this."

He then faces me.

"Yeah, because Boggi's always the good guy here." He chuckles coldly.

He shakes his head.

"You know what, this is a waste of my time. I don't need any of this right now."

He grabs his phone and walks passed me.

"You, have a good day further." He says in the doorway before disappearing.

"Emilio, wait!" I call out for him but he leaves out the front door, closing it shut behind him.

"Hey, you okay?" Boggi walks out of his room, "I thought you were in here." He motions to his room.

When he gets closer to me I shove him back with my two hands.

"Hey! What the-"

"Why did you do it? Huh? You had no right to beat him up like that?" I argue.

"Mia, calm down."

"Don't you dare tell me to calm down."

"Hey, what's going on here?" I see Rebecca walking up the staircase.

"Hey, Rebe. It's nothing, just a little confusion. Nothing serious." Boggi tells her.

But Rebecca doesn't look convinved at all.

She looks at me.

"You okay?" She asks.

My eyes flicker over from Boggi then back to her, "I'm fine...just a silly fight that's all."

My hoarse voice didn't convince her once.

She then looks between us.

"Yeah, maybe you need some girl time. Come on." She hooks her arm in mine and leads me away from Boggi to her bedroom.
