Mia's pov
8:45 in the morning. I'm still tucked in bed just staring at the window, looking out at sunrise.
"Hey, you still feeling sick?" Dad asks.
I nod, "Yeah..."
Dad sighs and walks in my room and sits down on the edge of my bed.
"It's been weeks now. If something's bothering you, you can tell me you know."
"I know."
"Well is something bothering you?" He asks.
"I don't want to talk about it right now." I fiddle with the ends of the bed sheets.
"It's okay. I'm not going to force you."
"Don't worry about me, dad. I'll be alright. How are things with you and Isabella?" I sit up, leaning my back against the head board.
"Things are going well...We might take a short vacation soon..."
"That's great, dad. Have you thought about where?"
"LA. Isabella hasn't been there before so I'm going to take her sightseeing. You invited if you want to come with."
I think about it for a few seconds.
It would be nice to go back where I grew up. Catch up with some old friends.
"I'm already packed." I joke, making my dad chuckle along.
"Okay. You get some rest. I got to get to work." He kisses me on my forehead and leaves the room.
I grab my phone and scroll through the contacts list.
I click on one and wait for the person to pick up.
"Mia?"
"Hey, Sam! How are you?"
"Omg, Mia! I can't believe you actually called. I'm good what about you?"
"I'm good, I actually have some great news."
"Well, what is it?"
"I'm seeing you soon. Dad has a new girlfriend so he wants to take us all on a little vacation."
"New girlfriend? Wow, what happened?"
"Long story, I'll tell you when I see you."
"I'm so happy right now. I missed you so much, now I'm going to see you..."
"Yeah, how is Noah doing? Have you talked to him?"
"No. He's a busy bee. Can't get through to the mans."
"Okay, well don't tell him, I want to surprise him."

Sorry for the long wait guys. But here is another but very short chapter, it's more of a filler (sorry) but I have my ideas for the next few chapters I just need to actually write it out.
