Mia's pov

I sat at the kitchen island, sipping on my tea while I scrolled through my phone.

Emilio walks into the kitchen and pours himself a cup of coffee.

"You looking fresh this morning." I comment as I take in his appearance.

He has a crisp white, plain t-shirt on, a black skinny jeans and white shoes.

He's hair was neatly cut and still damp from the shower he just got out of.

Even his cuts and bruises looked alot better.

"Yeah, after last night, I finally had a good nights rest. All thanks to you."

"All thanks to Mia for what?"

We see Boggi walk into the kitchen.

I see Emilio's expression fall and it almost looks like fear flashes in his eyes.

"It's nothing, he was just thanking me for..."

"For making me coffee." Emilio raises the cup up in his hands.

"I made that coffee just a few minutes ago." Boggi says.

We all go silent.

"Listen, it's okay. We're all okay, so just leave it, yeah?" I tell Boggi, standing next to him, holding his forearm in both of my hands hoping he wouldn't lunge at Emilio.

"We're cool." Boggi then shrugs.

"I'm just gonna...yeah." Emilio rushes out of the kitchen passed us.

When he's out of sight, Boggi breaks out of my grip to pour him coffee and I let out a breath of relief.

"I see you cleaned him up pretty good." He comments.

"You had no right to beat him up."

"You had no right to fuck him."

I'm unable to let out a word from my parted lips, only because I didn't know what to say.

"What? Cat caught your tongue?" He raises one eyebrow up at me.

He was being so cocky right now.

"What is wrong with you?" I question him, crossing my arms over my chest.

He leans against the kitchen counter and shrugs.

I shake my head at him and walk out of the kitchen.

When I get to the lounge, I see Ivan sitting at the dining table, wearing a black t-shirt, white skinny jeans and white shoes, with his phone in his hands.

"Hey, slow down there, chica." He calls after me.

I didn't realize I was literally stomping out of the kitchen.

"I'm sorry, I'm just feeling so stressed right now..." I say as I massage my temples with my fingers.

Ivan walks up to me.

"There, there," He wraps his arms around my whole body and I lay my head against his chest, "You're okay." He whispers.

I take in deep breaths as he holds me, his hands petting my hair.

Something about him comforted me.

I pull apart from him and look up at his bright eyes.

"Do you want to sit with me outside? Maybe you just need some fresh air." He suggests.

My eyes advert behind him at the big windows that shows the backyard. The sun was shining bright today.

My favorite weather.

I nod my head 'yes'.

When we got outside, we both sit on the edge of the pool, placing our feet into the cool water as the sun beamed down on us.

"How are you and Boggi?" Ivan asks me.

"We...I don't know, honestly. He's been acting really strange recently. He seems to be 'controlling' over me like he doesn't want me to be with anybody else besides him..." I shake my head, "I don't know...it's just like he doesn't trust me anymore I guess."

Ivan nods in understanding.

"Sometimes, I just wish I never done it you know." I look up at Ivan who's watching me closely.

"I understand. But things happen. That's what life's all about, you just have to take whatever life throws at you. Life's not a straight road." Ivan tells me.

I chuckle at myself, "Sometimes I tend to forget that."

"Boggi, he can be really mysterious sometimes. Sometimes I just wish I knew what's going on in that boy's head." Ivan says.

"Rebecca said the same thing."

"She did?"

"Well, not entirely but she did say something on the lines of 'Boggi's not who I think he is'. I don't know what that meant really but she did say that he tries to be the better version of himself around me." I shrug.

Ivan looks like he's thinking about something.

"Do you ever think about where he ran off to the night he found your pregnancy test in Mexico?" Ivan asks me.

I frown, trying to think for a moment.

I shake my head, "No, I haven't really thought about that. Why? Do you know where he went?"

Ivan sucks in a breath as if he was about to say something but gets cut off.

"Mia." We both look up at Boggi who calls me from his bedroom balcony.

"You probably should go up there." Ivan tells me.

"Yeah." I stand up from my spot, "Nice talking to you." I give Ivan a small smile before walking away leaving Ivan sitting on the edge of the pool.
