Down in the training area, (Y/N) watched as Tokoyami manifested his quirk for the fifth time that afternoon. A shadow in the form of a bird-like creature then emerged from his body. Since Hawks was busier now than ever, she was left with the responsibility of assisting the student with his training during the Hero Work-Studies for the time being. Eventually, she also would have to go back to her regular duties while some of the other sidekicks took over. However, she was glad that Hawks had trusted her enough to leave this task to her.

She wanted to see some of Tokoyami's new abilities first hand before they got started with anything else though. All she had seen so far was a bit of his performance from the U.A. sports festival where he had placed third. Not to mention his prior training with Hawks which she was sure had further improved his skills since the last time he was here.

"I'm sorry we couldn't start your internship any sooner. Things have been pretty busy around here," she explained to the student as she pressed a button on the remote she was holding to bring one of the walls on the obstacle course up. "And I'm sure it sucks not being able to train with Hawks this time around."

"No apologies needed," he responded in a serious tone as he stepped onto the obstacle course as well. "Regardless of who's training me, I'm grateful for the opportunity."

Tokoyami then proceeded to draw Dark Shadow out as (Y/N) prepared to block the move. The shadow attempted to break her shield of ice which she had learned to strengthen over time through her own training. Cracks appeared on the surface but it did not break. The force alone was able to push her back quite a bit as she tried to stop the shadow in its path. Before she could be pressed up against the wall though, she quickly jumped over the shadow, out of its reach.

"You've got some incredible strength there," she commended him as she walked back over to the boy in black.

"Thank you but the praise isn't necessary, I know I've still got a long way to go," Tokoyami deflected the compliment as his quirk withdrew back into his body.

He sure is humble.

Suddenly the large doors of the training room opened to reveal Hawks and a gray-haired girl with green eyes that she didn't recognize. (Y/N) wouldn't have cared who the other person was but the fact that she was clinging to her boyfriend's arm was a sign that this girl just might end up being a huge problem.

"Sorry to barge in when you're in the middle of training," he apologized to her as he stepped into the room. "I was just showing Miyu here around the agency."

"I'm Miyu, Edgeshot's younger sister," she introduced herself as she shook (Y/N)'s hand, not letting go of the blonde. "I'm sure you know him."

"Frostbite," she introduced herself as well, reluctantly shaking the girl's hand. "And yes I know him, he's the number four pro hero."
