"Ok, let's have a five minute break. I'm expecting to see all of you back on time." I said. Everyone nodded and exited to the room, I followed soon after.

I went to get a drink of water from the kitchen and started heading to one of the bathrooms. I heard a grumble coming from the room. (Y/n) was standing in front of the sink with her hand under the tap. She was holding some bandages with her other hand and many other first aid items sprinkled around her.

"Hey love, need any help?" I asked, (Y/n) jumped.

"O-oh Arthur, hi." (Y/n) replied briefly before going back to looking at her hand.

"What did you do to yourself?"

"Oh y'know, just a paper cut." (Y/n) laughed.

I couldn't tell if she was joking or trying to hide something because that wound didn't look like a paper cut.

"Books definitely cut that deep." I sarcastically replied. "What actually happened?"

(Y/n) sighed.

"I was messing around with your magic books, I'm sorry." She said, looking down toward the floor, ashamed. I sighed also.

"Ok, that's fine. Just promise me you won't touch them again, they're dangerous. Now let's get you fixed up shall we."

I took the bandages out of (Y/n)'s hand and began disinfecting the cut.

"But it was amazing! I didn't realise it would actually work!" (Y/n) said. Her voice filled with excitement. It reminded me of back when she was still a country and when I taught her how to use her first magic spell. I tried to shake the thought away.

"You figured out how to use a spell?" I asked, most of the books were written in a magical language that took me a few years to fully understand. "How did you read the magical words and pictograms?"

"What magic words and pictograms?" She asked. "Ouch don't press so hard, it hurts."

"Oh, sorry." I didn't realise I had held her hand so tightly. "Don't worry I'm almost done."

I quickly wrapped the rest of her hand up and tied the bandage together, completely the bandaging process.

"Ok, now I'm done." I said. "Now could you show me the books you were looking at?"

"Uh, yeah, sure." (Y/n) said as she led me back to the book room. She took me to one of the tables in the middle and showed me all the books she was looking at. Many of them were looking at memory spells and one was looking at a spell on time travel.

Time travel. Why hadn't I thought of that, I'm such a big dummy. I could just go back in time to when I was supposed to bring (Y/n) under my wing and then everything will be back to normal. I'll make sure that she never goes off to war, then she'll never think of starting her new one.

"Arthur are you ok? You were kind of just standing there and then you started smiling. It was a little freaky." (Y/n) said, waving a hand in front of my face.

"Oh, yes. I'm ok." I replied, straightening my tie. "You wouldn't mind if I looked at one of those books would you?"

"No, not at all. They are your books after all." She said, stepping away from the pile.

I quickly flicked through a few pages in then took out my trusty piece of chalk. I drew a magic circle on the ground and pressed my hand against it.

"Uh, Arthur what are you doing?" (Y/n) asked.

"Do you remember this from anywhere?" I asked, desperation in my voice.

"N-no, other than the fact that I saw I in that book..." (Y/n) started then she got one of her headaches again. "Maybe... I remember... you... something else... I can't..."

(Y/n) tried to search through the deepest, depths of her mind that were open to her but she couldn't remember anything else.

"(Y/n), Arthur, what are you guys doing?" I heard a Canadian voice ask. My eyes flicked to Matthew. Yes, that's who he was. How come I didn't realise he was in the room? Wait, did he even come to the meeting?

"This is a time travel spell. I don't know what Arthur plans to do with it?" (Y/n) explained.

"(Y/n) come here and put your hand on this circle." I said. (Y/n) obeyed and placed her hand onto the magic circle. I placed mine down and whispered the magic words.

"Arthur, I don't think this is a very good-" (Y/n) began but was cut short when we were both sucked into the magic.

We spun around in circles for a bit, our bodies coming apart and then joining back together. I don't remember this happening the last time I performed the time travel spell. Was it because I took (Y/n) with me too? Flashy lights flashed past us in many different colours.

"A-Arthur I'm scared." (Y/n) cried from somewhere.

"It's ok love, just stay with me. It'll all make sense eventually!" I shouted into the mass of colours.

Then there was a thud. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. There were books on some shelves in one corner of the room and books on the other side as well. It seemed I was back in my book room.

"Oh my goodness, are you two alright?" I heard a Canadian voice rush up beside me.

"Huh?" Was the only thing I could manage to say.

"You two had put your hands on this weird looking circle and then there was a bright flash and you two had fallen on the ground." Matthew explained helping me up. "(Y/n) still hasn't woken up yet."

"Oh, so I haven't gone back in time." I muttered to myself. "Why didn't it work?"

"Aye! England my dude! You're late to your own meeting. It's been like 20 minutes dude!" America shouted at me from the door frame.

"Yes, yes America. I'm coming, I'm coming." I said, picking myself up mentally and started walking over to the rowdy American. "Canada can you take care of (Y/n) please."

"Y-yes, of course." Canada replied.

"Dude, I can't believe you'd have the guts to be late to your own meeting. I mean, I do it all the time but, you?" America continued to ramble. "I thought I'd never see the day."
