I awoke to golden light filtering through my curtains, a welcome change from the constant gray at my old flat. I yawned, petting Dog, who lay beside me curled in a ball. I grabbed my phone and unplugged the charger, just looking at YouTube comments and Twitter. Finally, when the sun was higher in the sky and it was a normal time to wake up, I carefully stood up so as not to disturb my baby. I shook off the ugly feeling that last night's events caused, ignoring it for the moment. I closed his door, glancing towards Dream's room. I walked towards his room, opening the door just a crack. He was asleep, his blonde hair going in all directions and blanket covering his lower face. I smiled.
He was kind of cute when he was asleep. WAIT-
I brushed it off, closing the door. I slowly walked down the stairs. Zak, Wilbur, Fundy and Nihachu were on the couches built in to the stairs. Niki was leaning on Wilbur's shoulder, sleepiness glazing her eyes. I flopped down near Zak, who smiled tiredly, running his fingers through his wild hair. The front door opened and I looked to see Harvey standing in the doorway, three boxes in hand.
"I got doughnuts!" The man said, grinning. Everyone leaned forward as he set the boxes down on the coffee table.
"You, good sir, are life saver." Wilbur said happily. The others murmured in agreement.
"I get up too early and have nothing to do with myself. It's nice to have other people around." Harvey replied.
"Maybe you should learn to freaking sleep." Zak pointed out. I snorted.
"Zak, you sleep way too much for your own good, plus your schedule is really bad. Even for me, and I live - lived in the UK." I replied. They all laughed. Tommy emerged from the left hallway, messy blonde hair falling in his face.
"What's up, boys?" He said enthusiastically, then his eyes landed on Niki. "And woman." He looked at her. She laughed, and he started laughing too, sitting down on the couch beside Wilbur.
"What do you think my fans would do if I was actually nice to a woman on stream?" Tommy asked.
"They'd probably leave."
"And go where, to your furry stream?" Tommy shot back. Fundy glared at him while the others laughed.
"I am not a furry!" He said. I heard a noise from upstairs, and looked up to see Dream making his way down the stairs, his hair unkempt and sweatshirt wrinkled. He was probably so tired he didn't change out of his clothes. I frowned, wishing he'd take better care of himself. He sat down next to me, grabbing a doughnut and sinking back into the couch. He looked at me.
"So what should we do today?" I asked. Dream shrugged.
"Let's do a stream on your channel. I have an idea. And definitely face cam." He smirked. I wondered what he had in store for the probably tens of thousands of people who would tune in.
"Alright, then I will go get ready and tweet a warning. And now the Americans can't be mad at me for streaming at ungodly times." Dream laughed. I hurried upstairs, tweeting out a stream notice. I changed my shirt and then grabbed the concealer from my sock drawer.
I wondered what Dream would think about my affinity for makeup. Ever since my first face cam, I had messed around with concealer and very slight contour, which was why fans kept making jokes about me being 5 different people, although they never really caught on. I texted Dream that I was going to start, and he opened my door, sitting in a chair just out of view. I wondered what he was up to, but I pressed start stream anyway. I went on the SMP, and got some more netherite for back up.
The chat was full of people wondering where I'd been, others who wondered if we'd actually moved given we hadn't announced it yet, and a majority of people simping over my face cam. I'd say that was a win for my makeup skills given my messy state before the stream. After about half an hour of gathering materials, the chat started getting bored. They spammed 'call Dream'. I turned off my face cam and went on mute. I looked at Dream, who was slouched in his chair scrolling on his phone.
"Dream. Chat wants me to call you." He grinned.
"Ok, so do it."
"What do you mean do it?"
"Just trust me. Yell Dream in a minute or two." He said, walking out of the room and closing the door. I stared for a moment. Was he going to do a face reveal? No way. He wanted it to be special. I shrugged, turning face cam and unmuting. My viewership had dropped by a bit, but I didn't mind, I was sure they'd be back.
"So, you lot want me to call Dream?" He asked chat. They answered with a whole lot of yeses. He smiled. "Ok. DREAM!" The door flew open behind him and Dream walked in with a paper plate over his face. Of course it had his signature smiley face. I started laughing, falling out of my chair. He leaned down to get into my face cam as I watched.
"Why hello chat, you called?" And then my computer crashed because of the spam. No, I'm serious. It crashed because chat got so excited. Dream and I started laughing, rolling around on the ground until our lungs hurt from laughing.
"We got them so good." He said triumphantly. My twitter was blowing up and I tweeted a ;) just to make it worse.
"Tomorrow we should explain about the house and do some speedrunning." I suggested. He nodded, smiling.
"i think that'd be epic." I laughed.
"Quite epic indeed." I replied.
"Now that we're done giving the fans a heart attack, let's get some coffee." I nodded, and we went into the room with the espresso machine. Tubbo was already in there with headphones on and a steaming cup of coffee. He gave us a quick smile before returning his gaze to the beach.
Dream looked at the espresso machine with a blank expression.
"What, do you not know how to work an espresso machine?" I asked him. He looked embarrassed.
"Oh, the only reason I know how to is because I worked at a coffee shop near my house for my first job."
"Well that makes me feel slightly better." Dream said as I began to make two cups of coffee. I handed him one and we sat down near the piano. We sat in comfortable silence for a minute.
"Hey Dream?" I said. He looked at me, expectant. "I'm really happy we did this." I could feel my face heating up. He smiled.
"I am too George, I am too." I set down my coffee. I heard the front door open.
"What's up boys, I'm home." Dream and I looked at each other, before yelling simultaneously;
"SAPNAP!"
