After about an hour of Nick getting accommodated, we flopped down on the couches on the first floor. I looked at George, who stared at the floor.
"So, boys, what are we doing today? Besides that stream, which, by the way thanks for that Dream now I can't even go on my tl without being bombarded." Nick scoffed. I grinned.
"What can I say, we took their breath away." Patches jumped onto the couch next to me, pushing her nose under my hand. I pet her gently.
"Why don't we walk on the beach?" George suggested.
"Mm, I don't know, everyone will be extra observant for the next week or so now that they know something's up." I pointed out.
"True." Nick hummed. "Ooh, I have an idea!"
"What?" George asked.
"I'll tell you in a minute. For now, go get everyone that's not busy." George looked at me, and I shrugged. We set off in different directions. I peaked in Harvey's room. He was hunched over his desk with his headphones on. I tapped on his shoulder. He pulled off the headset.
"What's up?
"Sapnap wants to do something if you're not busy."
"What does he want to do?"
"He didn't say."
"Well I'm not busy, let's go." He followed me out. We knocked on Eret's door. He answered, also not busy. Zak wasn't either, or Tommy, or Wilbur and Niki. That was it for the left hallway though, so we went to the great room, where Nick, George, Fundy, Finn, Tubbo, and Spifey were waiting.
"We are going to play a game kind of like Among Us, but in real life. I wrote down tasks for 11 of us on these pieces of paper, and impostor on two others. If you want to film, go grab your cameras." A couple people left to grab cameras. I just pulled out my phone.
When the ones who left finally got back, Sapnap shuffled the papers and passed them out. I looked at mine quickly.
Impostor. This was going to be fun.
"Alright, so here are the rules.
Complete your tasks, and when you are finished text the group chat. If everyone finishes the crewmates win.
To kill someone, do a peace sign. You have a 40 second cool down.
When you die, collapse on the ground. If an Emergency meeting is called or a different body is found while you're dead, just go up to the coffee shop, which is off limits unless you're dead. This also goes for if you are the body discovered.
To call an Emergency Meeting or report a body, call the group chat. Everyone turn your phone volume up now.
Don't be a snitch and talk after you're dead.
And that's it! Everybody have fun." I smiled as people separated. I waited until everyone was gone - except wait, not everyone was gone. Tubbo was looking down at his piece of paper, and then they glanced at me.
"Lemme guess, you're the other impostor." He said. I nodded.
"We should stick together, but find other people to meet up with, preferably a pair." He nodded nervously.
"Ok, I'll follow your lead." I turned in the direction Zak and Sapnap had gone. We found them in the plant room.
"What color are we looking for again?" Zak asked.
"Red." Nick replied.
"Hey guys, have you seen a yellow tulip?" I asked.
"There." Nick pointed absentmindedly as he looked through the gardens. I tipped my head at Tubbo to check the hallway.
"Clear." He mouthed. I looked at Zak, who met my gaze. He opened his mouth right as I held up the two finger gesture. Nick looked at Zak, fumbling to grab his phone.
"Hey Sapnap." Nick made the mistake of looking at Tubbo, who also made a peace sign. He gave us a look that said "You are dead to me" as we rushed out of the room, ducking into one of the studio rooms. There was Finn, toying with a computer.
"Hello you two." He greeted us quickly, although his eyes lingered on us with faint suspicion in them. I looked at my watch. 20 seconds left.
"Hello Finn." Tubbo said enthusiastically. I took a piece of trash off the desk, tossing it in the trash can in the corner. I glanced at Tubbo one more time as I left the room, continuing to the next room. I heard a light thump as Tubbo killed Finn. Then my phone rang. Nice timing, no one would know where Finn died.
"I found Zak and Nick in the plant room." Eret said over speaker. "Harvey and Spifey had just passed by me."
"Well then it was obvious who did it." George pointed out.
"Now wait a minute-" Spifey said in outrage.
"Yeah hold up, we didn't even go in the plant room."
"Sounds like something the murderer would say." Wilbur cracked up. Tommy laughed.
"Voting ends in 20 seconds. Do we all agree on Spifey first?" I asked. Everyone besides Harvey and Spifey voted Spifey.
"Well?" Eret asked. Spifey sent us a picture in chat of his paper. It obviously didn't say impostor. I heard a collective groan from the others on the call. The call ended and I headed upstairs. I passed by the coffee shop.
"You suck." Sap said, flipping me off from one of the chairs. I smirked.
"It was never meant to be." I shot back. Zak turned and flipped me off as I walked away. I opened the door to George's room. He was in the corner, head on his knees.
"George?" I said softly. He lifted his head quickly, looking away to hide his red eyes. "What's up?" I asked.
"Nothing." He said briskly, standing up. I touched his arm. He pulled his hand away.
"It doesn't seem like nothing."
"Well it is, just let it go ok?" He met my gaze. "Let's just play the game."
"I- okay." I made a peace sign at him and he rolled his eyes.
"Of course you'd be the bloody impostor." He laid down on the floor. I knelt next to him.
"Hey, you can talk to me about anything you know." I said gently as I pulled out my phone to call the gc.
"I know. And I will; when I'm ready."
