It was the last day of Demi's break and I decided not to join her. I need to focus on school since how much my grades have dropped, but I made a promise to her. I can't cut. And whenever I have the urge, I need to call her. She wants to see if I can stay clean up until her next break. And I'm hoping I can do it to make her proud.

But Demi is the thing I'm worried about. She's just so--- quiet. Which is very unlike her. She's always super loud and giggly, but now she's just so distant. She's been eating less and it's scaring me and the rest of us.

"Demi, baby, I want you to keep your mind off of Wil-" Dianna halted when Demi cringed at the word. "Him. And keep your mind on touring. Focus on putting on a fantastic show just like you always do. You're fans are looking forward to see you, you can do it."

All Demi did was nod in response. Her face was freckled, indicating that there was no makeup on her face. She pushed her glasses up higher onto her nose and pulled her pillow closer to her chest.

"Bye, Dems. I love you." I mumbled moving toward my older sister. She looked down at me and reached for me with her open arm and pulled me into a tight embrace.

"I love you too, Dan." Her voice was soft and weak. And the sound of it shattered my heart. "Stay strong, babygirl. You can do it."

I nodded and pulled away as Demi hugged everyone else.

I watched as my mom frantically ran up to Marissa when she appeared in the circle.

"While you're there, I want you to make sure she eats. Everything. She's been eating less, please make sure she eats. Always keep your eye on her."

Marissa nodded and smiled at my Mom. "Of course I will, Dianna. Don't worry about it."

My mom and Marissa hugged before my mom ran over to Max to tell him the same thing.

"I'll be fine, Mom. I'm capable of it." Demi whispered to herself but I'm sure I'm the only one who caught it.

Demi's flight was called throughout the airport and a long exasperated sigh fell out of Demi's lips. She really didn't look like she wanted to go. Which was also different. Demi loved touring.

"Bye, Demi. Love you." Eddie said one last time before Demi smiled slightly at us before turning on her heel and going walking toward the entrance.

Just a couple weeks. I can do it.

"How many more guys did you give an STD too?" Someone chuckled, roughly shoving me into the metal lockers.

"Nobody." I choked out, bending down to grab my books that fell due to the impact.

"Connor says otherwise." As soon as I stood up, the books were ripped out of my hands again and thrown back onto the floor. "Dropped something." He laughed before pushing me against the locker again. He left, along with his gang of friends.

I let out a sigh and bent down to pick up my books.

Just hold yourself together, Dani. You can get through this day. Just stay strong.

I told myself as I pushed my way through the crowded narrow hallways.

Lunch. The worst part of the school day in my opinion. I never used to care about the fact that I'm eating in front of people, because I had a lot of friends and basically nobody judged me. But now, I feel so fat just by sitting in a cafeteria. I don't even have to have food in front of me and I still feel like a pig.

So that's probably why I never bothered to get my lunch at the school restaurant and sit down at a lunch table. Alone of course.

Like anybody would sit with me anyways. I'm gross.
