It was the last day of school today, and then I was off for two months due to summer break. Ten months of school is stressful enough, and it was finally over. But, after two months I'll have to come back to this hell hole and suffer for another ten months. I've asked my mom plenty of times if I could be home schooled, and she says no and that I don't have a good enough excuse to drop out. But my mom says no to everything anyways, I'm used to it.
I still haven't gotten back my keys, because my mom still thinks I'm not responsible enough. I haven't asked her about them because the last time I did that, it didn't go the way as planned. To be completely honest, I think my mom actually forgot. She hasn't mentioned anything about it, I have done exactly anything bad, except for the fact I skipped class because Connor kept taking me out. But, other than that, nothing exactly happened that would make her want to keep my keys for longer.
I sat with my group of friends at the same lunch table that we sat at every lunch hour. Most people in the school classify me "popular" because I'm the type of person with the nice clothes, the nice hair, and the large amount of friends. The only thing I don't do that most popular people do is, be rude to the people who aren't. Sure, I may be a sarcastic bitch but I'm definitely not the type to bully anybody unless they say something to criticize me first.
"You know that guy Jason?" Andrea asked, earning a few replies from everyone else.
"What about him?" Autrey asked, her slightly brown hair hitting Jade who was beside her by the force of how fast she had turned to face Andrea.
"He asked me out on Facebook last night." Andrea's face was filled with disgust, her brown eyes glancing at everyone around the table.
"Did you say yes?" Jenna asked, no emotion written on her face.
"Ew, gross." More disgust washed onto Andrea's face, while shaking her head at Jenna.
"Gross? He's not that bad." I piped in. It was true, he wasn't that bad looking. He was pretty attractive if I had to admit it. I think the only reason Andrea said no was because he's not popular. Not even close to popular. He's just one of those guys that have a decent amount of friends, but never gets any girlfriends because all he ever does is game all day.
"You're joking, right?" Hope asked me, while everyone else around the table looked at me like I just said something completely stupid.
"----No?" I said, but made it sound more like a question.
"Well, that explains why you're dating Connor." Andrea said, making my eyes widen. She was suppose to keep that a secret, and not mention it when we're all together. I told her that if she ever wanted to talk about it, it'd have to be just us alone.
My eyes glanced over at Jade, her eyes glued on me. When she knew I was staring, she shook her head at me and gave me a glare.
"She's dating Connor?" Jade finally spoke, looking over at Andrea and then back at me. I let out a breath and threw my head back as I heard her and Andrea talk about it. I wasn't even going to bother listening because I really don't want to get into another argument. I've had enough of those.
"Hey, babe." Connor's voice made Andrea and Jade stop talking to look up at Connor who was standing above me with a goofy smile written on his face.
"Hey," I smiled up at him, ignoring everyone else at my table.
"Wanna come to my place tonight?" He asked, the smile staying visible on his face.
