                                                     *3 Weeks Later*

My back was pressed against the building, Connor's lips pressed gently against my own and his arms were draped around my small waist. I pulled my lips away from his, my eyes slowly opening and looking up at him.

"Connor, I told you. I don't want to rush into anything." The look of him rolling his eyes and then flowed with a smile, made me push myself off of the concrete wall and move away from the boy.

"It was just a kiss, Dan. It's not that big of a deal. I'm not rushing anything." I let out a sigh, shaking my head at him and letting my gaze drop to the green grass below my feet.

"I know that, it's just-" I shook my head again and turned around, beginning to walk away from him. "Nevermind, I need to get back to class before we both get caught again. You really need to stop taking me out of class and bringing me outside, it's getting old, bud." I heard a pair of feet jog behind me to catch up to me and then he was walking beside me.

"Well where else are we suppose to go? The school hallway? We have more of a chance getting caught in the hallway than the back of the school." He looked over at me, both of us slowly making our way back to the front doors of the school.

"Yeah, you have a point." I giggled and looked over him because I noticed him staring. And when I caught him staring, he looked away from me, his eyes staring down at his feet as we walked.

"Your laugh sounds like your sisters." Thanks for stating the obvious, doofus.

"Yeah? And how exactly would you even know that? You've never met my sister." We both stopped walking and I looked at him, a smile slowly creeping onto my face.

"I've seen videos." He shrugged, and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Of course you have. Everyone has."

"Are you thinking that I searched her up on Youtube myself?" He laughed and shook his head. "No- I didn't. My sisters a huge fan and she's always taking over the living room TV to watch her on Ellen or Jimmy Fallon, you know, those interviewers."

I nodded, understanding what he was talking about. Of course his sister was a fan, everyone was a fan. Every single person loves her. I want to know what it's like to feel loved by more than one person at a time.

"Yeah... I know exactly what you mean." My words came out in a mumble, as I quickly turned around and started for the front doors of the school. "I need to go, see you later." My fingers wrapped around the handle of the door, and I pulled it open before quickly making my way back to my class.

**

"Where were you earlier? You didn't come back for like ten minutes after you asked if you could go to the bathroom. It doesn't take ten friggin minutes to take a shit, Dani."

I narrowed my eyes at Jade's before slamming my locker shut.

"Maybe it does, but why does it matter to you where I was anyways?" Jade's been so distant with me ever since the situation with Demi happened at her house three weeks ago. I wasn't sure if it was the fact that Demi wouldn't leave us alone, or the fact that I still haven't told her where I got the note from. She's been asking about it everyday, and I always refuse to tell her. It's not like it mattered to her anyways. She didn't have anything to do with it.

"Because I'm your best friend, and I deserve to know." She followed me down the hallway like a lost puppy.

"Jade, stop, okay. It's really none of your business, okay? I just want to get home." And with that, I turned back around and walked through the front doors.
