The second I hang up this phone, I'll send our conversation through text to Demi.

        Our conversation.

        Text.

        Demi.

        To Demi.

It just kept echoing in the inside of my mind, almost like a broken record player and you couldn't make it stop. Just the sound of his voice made a shiver shoot down my spine. His voice, it just sounded corrupt. When I first met him, his voice was so soft and soothing. Now you can't even listen to it without feeling a little terrified.

"Dani, this is fake, right? This better be fake because if this isn't fake, I'll never forgive you."

Demi shoved her phone into my hands and I stared blankly down at the screen. Sure enough, it was mine and Connor's conversation, which was screenshotted from his phone and sent to Demi.

I didn't reply. All I did was lock her phone and place it back into the palm of her hand. What was I was suppose to say? Yes, Demi it's true? No, I can't just bluntly say that. She's going to want a explanation, but I really don't want to talk about it. It was years ago, why did she have to freak out about it?

"Dani, say something," There were tears in her eyes and then guilt washed over me. What I did was horrible and I know that. When I was doing it, I didn't think it was wrong, I didn't think it even mattered. "Please tell me this is photo shop or some kind of joke and that you never did that."

I chewed on my bottom lip and let out a shaky sigh. I couldn't think of anything to say.

"It's just a simple yes or no! Is it true?"

"--Yeah," I started. "But, can I explain something, it's not-"

"Get out." I was cut off by Demi.

"Out? Demi, I have no where to go." I paused. "Please, let me explain this please."

"Exactly. I want you to get on a plane tomorrow morning and go home. Actually, it'd be great if you left while I was on stage because I honestly don't want to spend another minute with you."

That hurt. Doesn't she realize what I did was six years ago? I was ten, and I didn't know right from wrong completely yet.

"Can I just explain it to you?"

"Demi, five minutes." Her backstage manager told her, peeking into her dressing room.

"No, Dani. I think that picture explained everything already," She shook her head at me, disgust writing across her face. "I have to go."

She pushed roughly passed me. I watched as she stormed out of the room and followed her team down the hallway toward the direction of the stage.

My own phone started buzzing multiple times in my hand. I lifted it up and realized I had multiple text messages from multiple people.

Jade: youre kidding, right? you're ridiculous. you did it to demi when you were younger and now you're doing it to us? lmao wow dani

Autrey: so it was you this whole time? how mature. delete my number.

Andrea: i really didn't expect this from you dani
