Recap:
"Pavi, are you serious?"
Well he seemed more shocked to this piece of information than what I broke previously.
Men!!
I nodded and then tightly hugged him to inhale his strong scent.
"Pavi, with you so close to me, it's really difficult for me to-"
I chuckled at his throated comment and kissed his exposed neck.
"Well then, let's follow that from tomorrow!", he winked as we, well you know, yes!

The next couple of days passed in the over enthusiasm portrayed by my mother in law. Well, you can't just bluntly go and say things.
You know what I mean right? It is awkward, isn't it?
So, I carefully placed my words by telling thay my husband and me would like to visit a resort for a couple of days and come back.
She picked up the clue from there and well the rest is history!Seriously, her joy knew no bounds and she was more excited for our honeymoon than well, me! She started checking for the availability of trains, oh, even before that 'what's the best mode of transport' debate and so on!
The excitement to be a mother bloomed within me, with every passing day. My husband also did seem pretty excited about it. But I really wanted to ensure that we have a special experience and so, I refrained from having any, you know what I mean, until our trip.
That did come out as a bummer to him, but the efforts he took towards being a father made me love him even more.
Things seemed to smoothen between my sister in law and my husband. There was no more awkward hallway fillers just to ensure that my mother in law doesn't figure out.
She was now concentrating on her entrances to get into a good college. Raj ji dropped her and picked her up from the tution centre that she newly joined to help her aid with the preparations. With other kids spending their summer holidays, our little tution centre also seemed to gain a bit of popularity in the neighborhood.
Well, my mother in law was extremely stern in not taking "admissions" until next month. She did have it all sorted!
Maybe that's the beauty of being in a family and maybe this is maturity.
Also now, my mother in law wanted us to spend time together. She started arranging some alone time, either in the name of my husband's shop or w.r.t shopping!
Yes, I had been helping out my husband with his shop but well that's not the point, I purchased a lot more sarees in these couple of days than I did in my whole freaking life!
Today's one such day that I had to go out with him. Frankly speaking, I can't imagine that the girl in me would actually fall in love with a man like him!
I was sceptical about this wedding for I was a girl with big dreams. Being from an extremely conservative family, age was the only criteria to get women married. It soon did reach my ears that Raj ji was a stationary shop owner.
I did not know whether he would understand my dreams, forget about supporting and encouraging me to pursuing them. Today, here I am with a shopping spree and all ready with no inhibitions to bear his child.
Our ride is not as romantic and colourful as it looks now. We did have our fair share of ups and downs. Raj ji made me open up to him and read through my irrational behaviour.
When he understood that I didn't merely want to be a housewife washing utensils and clothes, though he didn't understand the value of it initially, but his love was so much for me that he understood the emotion that I held for my dream to become a doctor.
It is at that moment I fell heads over heels in love with him. I found a friend in him and yes he was a great lover. Even on the worst days, usually due to the taunts of my mother in law, he was there to care and love for me.
So, I really didn't think twice to take my marriage life one step ahead.
"Pavi, thum kahaan ko gayi ho?"
That was my sweet husband who brought me back to the present. We were traveling in an auto and the breeze literally was making my saree to shift it's position to expose my tanned tummy and waist's skin. Thank goodness it was just seen by him.
He just took a sharp breath. With the no involvement in physical act thing, it really was hard on him. I immediately fixed back my saree and pulled out my shawl.
"Yeah, that helps-", he mumbled sarcastically.
I smiled and slightly blushed.
We almost reached the shop that Ma ji wanted us to visit. Actually, being here for almost over a year, I hadn't heard of this shop.
And when the auto stopped right in front of it, my husband and me sat shocked with our jaws dropped.
We were sent to do western clothes shopping!
