"Can you believe this?" I whispered over to Eden laughing slightly as the teacher carried on talking at the front of the student hall. "Who would've thought so many maths teachers could all 'go on strike' and quit at the same time,"

"Exactly. I actually liked my maths teacher he was cool and now cause half of the maths department has quit is leading to new and not to mention bigger maths classes," She replied.

"I hated my maths teacher anyway. You think we'll be in the same classes this time around?" I asked, looking over at her but keeping my face facing the front. So the teacher explaining why we were being put in new classes wouldn't catch me talking.

She snorted slightly before turning to look at me. "Yeah right,"

I looked back over at the teacher as he was handed a sheet of paper. The whole year was in seats in front of him waiting for him to let us know what class we were gonna be in so we could get to class. He really dragged on the explanation when it could've been so simple... but I guess nothing ever is with high school huh?

He pulled his glasses down from where they were, on his head. Scanning the sheet before beginning to read it out.

I zoned out staring over at another teacher who was having trouble with a laptop. She sat next to the doors of the hall on her laptop but began to get obviously frustrated tapping hard on the keyboard keys. She kept readjusting the screen taking deep breathes before smacking the keyboard with the palm of her hand. She must've done this for minutes because I ended up hiding my face in my hoodie trying not to burst out laughing. I had a tiny headache in the back of my head and it hurt like hell to laugh but- my God I could not help it.

I felt Eden elbow me as I pulled my face out my hoodie and looked over at her. Taking a deep breath before smiling. "Yes?" I asked her trying to seem innocent.

"What are you laughing at?" She whispered back confused, her eyebrows slanted downwards.

"L-look over-" I snorted slightly with laughter replaying the vision in my head of her face being so angry before being able to finish my sentence. "Look over there," I directed her pointing over at the same teacher who was still going at it. Only more heavy handedly and frustrated.

I heard Eden beside me begin to giggle too as the both of us tried so hard to hide our laughter in the nearly silent hall. The only one talking loudly was the teacher still reading the list. God, I hope he hasn't read out my name yet.

I carried on laughing watching the teacher as she progressed to slamming the screen down and turning it back on again but once again she resorted back to violence with a machine. I quietly giggled at this little show I was watching for minutes until I heard my name.

I looked away from the teacher who was abusing her laptop and over at the other one holding the sheet as he carried on with the names. I listened carefully to try and see if there would be anyone in my maths class I would actually like and be happy with but released as he kept out calling names probably not. He finished the list calling out Billie Joe Armstrong last as he explained the classroom we would be in and waited for us to leave so he could call out the next class.

I sighed loudly, picking up my backpack and swinging it around my shoulder. "Wish me luck,"

"What in a class with my annoying brother? You're gonna need it Blaze, Good luck,"

I walked out the hall following the crowd as we began to walk down the corridors and all crowded into our associated classroom. The teacher, an old looking hag who sure as hell knew me and probably the rest of this class since she had been working here her whole life, what a waste, stood at the front as many people began to take their seats.
