"Why would you say that!?" Coby shouted over at me surprised at the new information Eden was now feeding him.
"Shut up shut up shut up!! I know I know! Eden has already scream at me nine whole times for it!"
"What precisely nine times?"
"Been keeping count,"
"Niceee," He grinned putting his hand in the air for a high five. Easily being distracted from the point of the conversation.
I went to high-five him before Eden pulled his arm down. "No! Not nice! She told someone she's dating my brother!"
I rolled my eyes breathing out. "Eden we'll probably never even see that dude again,"
"Hopefully,"
I inhaled looking around the cafeteria of the school. Coby, Eden and I were sat on a table buried in the middle of the hall. Other people around us on different tables, different sort of cliques I guess. I'm not sure what we would be categorised as... but it probably wasn't pleasant.
Not that that bothered me, or Eden, or Coby. Social status sucks cock anyway. Who really cares in the end?
"Does he know you said this?" Coby asked me as my eyes still looked around the large but filled room.
They landed on Billie's table. Where him and his friends had always sat. Only because there was a clear path were the tables went directed to where I could see him. Right near the back.
He sat there with Mike and Tre, them only. It confused me much because Billie was sorta a little popular. Not much, but he was way more liked than I was. But he still stuck with just them. Yes, Billie was an asshole. But he was real and down to earth, I could give him that.
I know how I'll never hear the end of this situation. I didn't even say it because I liked Billie. I don't. He's an annoying little jerk, an immature teenager, a idiotic bastard. I don't think I could ever love him really, not that it would ever come to it.
"Are you staring at him?"
"What?" I asked, realising I was being spoken to as I looked away from Billie who was currently shaking up a can of coke.
"Was you just staring at- oh my god this can't get any worse," Eden said with her head now in her hands.
"I wasn't even staring at him in particular I was just staring at everyone in the cafeteria,"
"What and as I looked over your eyes happened to be on Billie Joe?" Coby joined in, a slight smirk creeping up on his face. I could just tell he found this hilarious.
"Look I know this looks super bad-"
"-Duh! You told a guy my brother was with you!"
"Yes yes Eden! I'm aware! Anyway! I know this looks super bad- but I don't! Have any feelings for Billie. He's not my type. I can't even look at him that way, I can't even imagine looking at him that way! In fact! I can't even imagine me imagining me looking at him that way!"
I looked over at Eden and Coby. Both of them giving me blank stares as they were silent, looking over at me blinking quietly.
"What?" I asked.
"You can't even- sorry- you can't even.... imagine you imagining you... imagining you-?"
"-No Coby I can't imagine me imagining me looking at him that-"
"-but you said-"
"-I know what I said!"
"Hey losers," A voice said from behind me. I rolled my eyes turning around to see of course the trio of idiots.
