Beep, beep! Beep, beep! Beeeeeeeeep!

His eyes opened widely and his body jolted up quickly after it.

He breathed hard and then looked around his room quickly.

Books, papers, laptop, messy room . . . uh, uh, uhhhh!

He blinked and rubbed his eyes while trying to remember what day it was and what he was supposed to be doing now. He felt his heart racing in his chest and his breaths rushed but his mind was blank as to what the reason for it was.

It's . . . it's . . . FINALS! I HAVE MY HISTORY FINAL TODAY! SHIIIT!

The guy catapulted out of his bed then began to pack up his laptop where it sat on it. He gathered all the books, pens and papers and brought them to his desk. He then grabbed his bag from off a seat in the corner of his room and put it on his back. Now he was rushing out.

"Ah son you're awake. I was about to send your mother in to wake you." His father was dipping a tea bag into a cup of tea at the counter while his mother rested her plates in the sink.

The boy nodded at them then sat at the table to eat but decided that he had no time. "I-I must go. Goodbye!" He ran out.

The parents did not even have time to say anything to him.

He ran back inside and then rushed to his room wearing a sheepish smile. "I must get dressed and brush my teeth first."

They watched him but did not really react to his quick, nervous behaviour. He was always like this.

When the boy ran out of his room he was still pulling a shoe on and his hair still seemed rumpled. Part of his mouth had toothpaste at the corner. "Goodbye!" He bowed at his parents then went to the door.

"Wait Jimin, son, come!" His mother said just as she saw him turn the knob.

Jimin looked at her with raised eyebrows and a twitching eye.

She smiled. Both parents were dressed for work and would leave soon after him in their car. They would offer him a ride but his speed walking may actually be faster if there was traffic on the way to his school . . .

"Do your best son." She told him.

Jimin smiled a bit too then bowed while saying; "I will mother. Thank you."

The father nodded at him once he straightened himself. "By that she means do well."

Jimin gulped while looking at him.

The man then raised a hand with a smirk.

Jimin high-fived him and then bowed while stepping back. He then opened the door and ran out screaming.

"Shut up!"

"What is wrong with that frantic boy??" Neighbours were complaining from inside of their houses.

Jimin covered his mouth as he ran at high speed. "Sorry! Sorry!" He said as he ran.

He kept running with his tie flying in the wind as he moved at breakneck speed.

My mind is completely blank now but hopefully I should remember the content once I step into the school. Yes, yes I will remember. I will!

He couldn't help but breathe hard as he kept moving, zooming faster than the average human. Now he was on a busy sidewalk, swerving people.

I studied too hard to not do well. I studied way too hard! I am already in the lead! He was sure that he was already the top of his class. Today was his last exam. He had done the others earlier during the week and had known every single answer on every single page. I have been preparing for this for months! For months! I know it all! My final revision last night should strengthen my knowledge! Now it is all cemented in my head!
