Epilogue: Eula's Letter (Unsent)

To my dearest Natsume,

I know I havent't been talking to you anymore nor contacted you. You will probably never see this letter but, I feel like it's for the best... For my sake and yours...

I decided that I wanted to cut off contact with you completely for the sole reason of setting you free. If I don't set you free that just means I never really loved you, but I do... so much that it hurts me everyday. I tried my hardest to convince my family that we are meant to be and our hearts are one and inseparable... But at the same time I felt like I was chasing shadows of a love that will never even become reality because of how far apart we are and how much effort we need to make to stay together... I feel like it's more of a burden than a motivation to keep me going and it's been weighing me down heavily.

I also want you to know that there are so many more women out there that can love you more than I did and will make you happy and will be more than willing to take your hand and take care of you. If that right person comes along, I want you to take your time and search your heart and find it in you to love that woman who loves you back. I'm saying this because I care about you so much and that I love you so much... that I wouldn't want you to be unhappy on whoever you love next when you eventually move on.

If you do read this... I want you to know that I'm sorry that I will end up hurting you after you are done reading this. I just can't do this anymore and I feel like being on our separate ways will be better for the both of us. I won't forget you though... I will always remember you. I believe that one day if the time is right I will come back to you if we are made for each other. And if I do come back to you, rest assured that I will never leave again.

I conveyed the message that I want to say, so I will end my letter here and this is where I say goodbye. I have no ill will towards you and I wish you nothing but health and happiness. Don't forget about us and the positive times we had together. You know it was real if it made you happy.
