After the awards ceremony and loading up the bus, Karasuno headed home like the proud winners they were. They sang songs, played some games, broke out some of the good drinks until exhaustion came over them.

Yamaguchi managed to fall asleep on Tsuki's shoulder, which Tsuki didn't mind his friend to do. He was just... excited for the first time in a while. The blond never had that much fun playing volleyball and the rush was still with him.

But he looked down at his hand and sighed. It was wrapped up and secured, but it hurt like hell. Having your finger disjointed and popped back in place was something Tsuki never thought he would have to feel, but he was glad that he took the risk to stop Ushiwaka's spike.

Kuroo didn't text him back after that one message he sent him, which kinda relieved him a bit. Sure, he did like Kuroo, but the pain of having to type on the keyboard was something Tsuki wasn't going to do.

With that, Tsuki grabbed his face mask in his school jacket and placed it over his eyes. The excitement was slowly leaving his body and sleep overtook him.

Meanwhile, Kuroo was just chilling in the living room with his mother. They were watching a volleyball game that Kuroo had recorded for Nationals. He had a buddy down in the Iwate district that filmed a practice game of Inarizaki High and Shofuko High. The match was intense.

Sure, he had to pause the video every five minutes because his mom didn't understand some of the moves or what the types of serves or blocks there were. But he was happy to point them out to her.

"That's a soft block mom. You see the way he holds his hands up like that?"

"Oh. Interesting. What position do you play again?"

"I'm the middle blocker, but I'm also the captain of the team," Kuroo stated proudly.

Of course, he was eyeing Inarizaki's middle blocker, Rintaro Suna. He was someone that the rooster-head admired, but also hated with a passion. His read blocks were of that of a professionals and he hardly missed stopping any balls that came his way.

Even though he didn't have the height that Lev did, Suna made up the lack of height for speed and talent. It was clear that any league would want him on their team.

Speaking of Lev, Kuroo had to remind himself to train Lev a little harder this week. He decided to slack off and go out on a date with a girl last weekend, which meant that they had to stop praticing for a little while. Sure, the half n half was getting better, but it was nowhere close to what the team needed.

Rooster-head was just trying to avoid what happened at the Nohebi match with Yaku and Shibayama. He would do anything to make sure his team would get through Nationals. However, he wasn't sure if they could win.

Don't get him wrong, he doesn't think that they aren't good, but it's obvious that they weren't really 'winner' material.

"Whoo! They scored another point!" Kuroo's mom yelled.

The statement shook Kuroo out of his thoughts and looked up at the screen to see the score. 21-25.

Inarizaki won.

Of course they would, Kuroo sighed.

He got up, got the DVD and headed back to his room, he needed to think of something to do for tommorrow as a team. Sure Nekoma had a couple of months before they would go to Finals, but there were school meetings, planning fund-raisers to pay for transport and hotels, along with regular practices and some weight training on the side.

Kuroo picked up his phone as he sat himself on his bed, he was suprised to see that Tsuki sent him a message over two hours ago.  The captain opened his phone and looked at the message.
