"What about a kissing booth?"
"Really?"
"Don't tell me that you don't notice all the fangirls that come to our games?"
Kuroo and Kai got roped into a meeting into how they were going to pay for the trip to Nationals, considering how the school budget didn't have enough money to send them.
Of course, one of the girls on the student council team suggested a kissing booth to pay off the trip fees, leading to the poor captain having to explain to the team that their weekend plans were going to be put on hold.
Kenma could care less and so did most of the first years. But Yamamoto, Lev, and Yaku had stars in their eyes while they discussed how long their lines would be and all the cute girls that would want to kiss them. Kuroo, on the other hand, wasn't the most excited to do this.
He had texted Tsuki earlier about it, but the blond didn't read the message yet. Of course, it would be a little weird if the captain didn't participate, but he was willing to make the sacrifice if his boyfriend wasn't okay with it.
"How does Karasuno's eleven feel about this?" Kenma asked.
"I don't know. I texted him about it, but he didn't see it," Kuroo responded with a sigh.
After some practice drills with receiving and serving, the boys all headed their separate ways home. The rooster-head was excited to go home to his mother and see what was for dinner tonight.
"Little more effort bean sprout!" Ukai yelled at Tsukishima.
The blond wasn't the most excited to be yelled at by his coach, but he tried stretching his hands up even higher, until the point where his muscles started to burn.
The block managed to stop Asahi's spike from passing the net, but there was a reason why he was called the 'ace'. All that Tsuki could feel was this burning sensation running from his hand down to his forearm as he landed on the ground.
Tsuki's face contorted into one of pain as he brought his hand to his chest while cradling it with the other. He walked off the court and grabbed some tape and began wrapping his fingers up. He couldn't wait to go home and take a shower. Today just wasn't a good day for him.
First it was the pop quiz in history, then not paying attention in English class, by the time lunch rolled around, Kageyama and Hinata wanted Tadashi for some advice with something which led to the King spilling his milk carton on the middle blocker's uniform. For the rest of the school day, he smelled like sour milk.
To be honest, Tsukishima was having the worst day of his life. He just needed to get through practice, zoom on home on his bike, go take a long, hot shower and have some nice homemade food.
The minutes ticked away and just like that, the gym was cleaned up, the storage room was locked, and all the boys headed to their homes for the evening.
Tsuki checked his phone when he got home and saw that his boyfriend had texted him earlier.
Kuroo: Hey
Kuroo:... um
Kuroo: I'm hosting a kissing booth w the team
Kuroo: Would u be ok with that?
Tsukishima didn't quite know what a kissing booth was, so he looked it up. He found it rather... dumb.
Why pay to kiss someone? That's just pathetic, the blond thought to himself as he began typing his response.
Me: Sure. Just don't ditch me for a girl.
Me: That's kinda lame if u do.
Tsuki was okay with it... totally fine with it.... not. He was kinda infuriated that all these girls and possibly some boys would be lining up, handing money to kiss his boyfriend. His boyfriend. Sure, he understood that Kuroo was his own person and that he could do whatever, but this was kinda pushing the line.
