The following day, both boys headed to their homerooms, getting ready to take their mid-terms for their classes.
Tsukishima was fully prepared and was quite confident that he would pass his tests with flying colors unlike the King and his sidekick. Both Kageyama and Hinata were sweating in nervousness as the tests were being passed out. They didn't want to fail and have to miss out on going to practice.
The second and third years were pretty sure that they would pass too... except for Nishinoya and Tanaka, who stayed up late playing videogames, believing that the mid-terms were next week and not the following morning.
Kuroo on the other hand was a little nervous. The rooster-head woke up late and had to skip out on breakfast to catch the bus to school. He had to help do some classroom duties that morning too, so he was a little tired when the tests were being passed out.
But Kuroo believed that he would do fine as long as he could remember what Tsuki taught him yesterday. He was very thankful that his boyfriend made sure to help him study, even though they were in different grades.
The bells had rung, the students were at their desks, and the teachers passed out their tests, and mid-terms had just begun.
- Time Skip -
"How did you think you did Tsuki?"
"Good, I suppose."
Mid-terms were done for the day. The results would be posted out in the hallways a couple of days way, so for now, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi headed to the club room to change.
They were the first two to arrive, so Tsuki pulled out his key that he got from Sugawara and unlocked the room. After unpacking their bags, the two boys began to undress and put on practice clothes.
Both boys changed in silence, but poor Yamaguchi kept looking at Tsuki's back as he changed. He would never admit it to anyone, but he liked the middleblocker... a lot.
Ever since he stuck up for him in the park, Tadashi felt that Tsukishima was really cool and special in his eyes. That was one of the reasons that he joined volleyball too. It was because the blond was in the club back in elementary school.
The brunette never did ask out Tsukishima, in fear that it would ruin their friendship, so he stayed on the sidelines and cheered on his friend through everything.
But recently, Yamaguchi was feeling a little left out from the middle blocker's life. It was clear that he and Nekoma's captain were getting close, but he wasn't sure what they were to each other.
He didn't ask his friend about it, thinking that it was rather rude to ask someone who they're friends with. Besides, he didn't want to come off as clingy.
"Hinata, Boke!" Screamed Kageyama as he tackled Hinata into the room.
Poor Tadashi had a mini heart attack from the two and turned his head back around, not wanting for anyone to see the blush on his face from thinking about his best friend.
Tsukishima scoffed before pulling down his t-shirt. "Are you two done being idiots yet?" He asked, annoyed.
"Tch." Kageyama walked to his respective locker and started to grab some of his clothes and change.
Hinata was already out the door with his practice clothes on. How he put them on so fast? Tsukishima will never know or try to figure out.
