"Please board the next train at this time," The announcement asked.
Tsuki grabbed his luggage and headed onto the next train while questioning how in the world Kuroo did this when he came to visit him.
The blond was heading to Toyko intending to see his boyfriend. It was not out of jealousy that he was visiting him though. He totally, genuinely wanted to see how the captain was holding up.
Tsukishima was on the final train before he was going to see Kuroo in Tokyo. Well... not Tokyo, more like the outskirts of the city. But he was still excited to see him nonetheless.
Kuroo, on the other hand, thought that he had enough time to take a nap before he and his mom had to go pick up his boyfriend. The rooster-head set five alarms to make sure he would wake up, but alas, none of them did.
He was woken up by his mom shaking him while yelling," We're late!" right in his face. Kuroo wasn't fully conscious to understand what was happening, but he followed his mom out of the house and into her car. They drove off, full speed to the train station, praying that they would get there before Tsuki would get off the train.
"How's my hair mom?" Kuroo asked while trying to style it.
"Umm... it's cute. But not like how you usually have it. It's kinda floppy in the back."
The captain licked both of his hands and tried to shape his hair to stand up a little, but to no avail. Kuroo cursed himself for not waking up a little earlier to clean up. Then he looked down at his shirt and almost wanted to die.
It was a volleyball shirt that had the rules for being a great captain that he bought last year at Nationals, but that wasn't why Kuroo was a little alarmed. The collar of it had some drool on it and there were a couple of stains all over the bottom of the shirt. Not to mention that the shirt itself was a little wrinkled.
Okay, don't panic, the rooster-head told himself.
I'm sure that Tsuki wouldn't mind if I looked like this.
Then Kuroo's mind played out all these different types of scenarios in his head of what the middle blocker would say to him.
"Did you just wake up? What a slob."
"So um... did you forget to do your laundry or???"
"Yep... I guess you didn't care about me enough to look decent? Lame."
"I'm breaking up with you since you're such a mess."
"Mom we have to turn around."
"No! We're almost there. What's wrong?"
"I can't meet him. Not when I look like this," Kuroo explained as he stretched out his t-shirt, showing all the stains and wrinkles to his mom.
She looked over at him and worry came over her face. The car stopped and she started to rummage in the back of the car while mumbling to herself. Then, she pulled out a hoodie and tossed it to him.
"Pull that over your t-shirt. It'll hide the stains and wrinkles, I just hope you don't mind the print."
Kuroo pulled the hoodie over his head and through his sleeves before the car started back up and off to the station. Once the captain fully situated himself with the hoodie, he looked down and was a little embarrassed about what was on the front of it.
On the front, there was a full definition of the word 'lazy' on it. With a cheesy description saying that laziness is another form of production.
Oh well, Kuroo mentally sighed.
