Carnotaurus was a genus of Abelisaurid from South America. It is one of the most known theropods from its nearly complete skeletons and a skin impressions from its entire side.
Two main distinguishing features are its tiny arms and prominent horns. The arms evolved to be smaller because it helps the animal run without tripping on them. The horns were too weak to head butt, but we're most likely displays for mating and ways to push other Carnotaurus on their sides.
Carnotaurus was adapted to chasing small prey. It's long legs and slender body support this theory, plus its skull wasn't made for crushing bone but for swallowing prey whole. It's needle-like teeth likely helped trap prey in its jaws.
It could run up to 30 Mph, being one of the fastest dinosaurs.
   Length: 26 to 30 Feet
   Weight: 2,200 to 6,600 Pounds
   Height: 9 Feet
Diet: Small prey and maybe carcasses
Lived: In South America during the Late Cretaceous of the Mesozoic
Appearance: Bipedal in a horizontal stance. Tiny arms and a small round head. Horns grow above the eyes, likely colorful to attract mates. A long stiff tail for running. Round scales cover the whole body, but maybe the arms and tail had feathers.
