My School

Waverly Academy was so much fun! Let me show you some pictures that I took of here before I left in 1979. The above picture is of Ramsey Hall where I stayed during my years of high school.

This is the Foyer. I remember when I stepped in here for the first time when I started high school. I was so excited!

This is the school library. It was very old, hence there were many old books here which I liked.

This was the 'Snack Shop' as it was called. I would come here for meals, or I'd take them upstairs to my room with me.

Here's our food. Sometimes I was paired up with Therese for Snack Shop duty for extra high school credits. I didn't know taking pictures of food would one day be so trendy! I guess I just wanted to take as many photos as I could as Waverly was a big part of my life. I loved every second of it.

This is the bedroom I shared with Therese. It didn't always looks like this, we just decorated it that way for Halloween, and we decided to keep that for a while, because we loved the purple lights, stained glass window as well as the little glowing toys. My bed is the one in the corner, and Therese's is off-screen, next to where I took the photo.

And finally, the shot of the front entrance. I took this before we left school for Christmas back in 1978. I loved how Waverly looked when it was snowing.
