My beautiful DJ was growing up before my very eyes. I knew her since she was a 1 year old baby, and now she was 16, getting ready for her Jr Prom. Gosh, if I could be emotional with her, how much more emotional would I be when my baby girls would reach her age?!

Pam went dress shopping with her, and I helped her out with her hair while she put on some beautiful diamond earrings. Gosh, it brought back memories from my prom when I went with my Jesse. And we were already engaged by then!

That moment when we were crown prom king & queen, I sure did not expect that!

"Aunt Olia, I'm so excited that you and Uncle Jesse are going to sing for us at prom!" Said DJ.

"So am I. It's only been 3 years since I did that reunion show with the Go Go Girls, but it feels like forever." I replied.

It was suggested that the Rippers and the Go Go Girls perform that night by the faculty. Of course we accepted, as we knew we'd have fun, but we'd also be able to keep an eye on DJ. When DJ heard Jesse and I were going to sing at her prom, she screamed and gave us both the biggest hug! Our DJ was young & sweet 16!

Her boyfriend Steve was her date, and we all liked him. He was a very nice guy, though he liked to eat a lot for some reason. I think that might be because he was a star athlete at school, and needed a lot of food for his energy which is understandable. But I loved him and DJ together, they made a beautiful couple.

"You know Aunt Olia, Steve and I were invited to this 'after party' in a hotel and I'm not sure if I should go or not."

"Really? What did mom and dad say after they stopped screaming?" I asked her.

"I didn't ask them. Truth be told, I really don't want to go, but I am worried that Steve might want to."

"You should never do anything you're uncomfortable with, Deej." I told her.

"Steve's ex invited us, and she's beautiful." Said DJ.

"DJ, you're beautiful too!" I reassured her. "And you have nothing to worry about, honey. Steve loves you, I can tell."

"When you were my age, you went to the prom with Uncle Jesse, right?" DJ asked me.

"I sure did." I told her.

"Can you tell me a bit about that?" Asked DJ.

"Oh I can tell you a lot about that!" I replied. "What a day that was! I graduated highschool that morning, then hours later at home, my godmother helped me get ready for the prom, and when Jesse saw me and I saw him... I knew we just had to share a tender kiss."

"How romantic!" Said DJ.

"Very much so." I replied. "We shared a dance as prom king & queen."

"Oh that's right! You both were made prim king & queen!" Said DJ. "Let me guess, the song you danced to was by ABBA?"

"Haha, yes." I laughed. "But there was some Elvis music that played as well. So we were all happy."

"Which song was it?" Asked DJ.

"Dancing Queen." I replied.

"Ah yes. Of course." Said DJ. "That's the song for young & sweet prom queens, even if they are not 17!"

After the final touches, DJ and I came down the stairs, and when Jesse and I saw each other in our formal wear, it triggered pretty much the same reaction as on our own prom night!

"Oh baby, you are so beautiful!" Said Jesse.

"You're handsome yourself, honey honey!" I flirted, referencing one of my favorite ABBA songs. Like at our own prom, we had to share a kiss!
