Us Greeks love to celebrate, as I'm sure you know, so we always find little things to celebrate, like when Jesse's grandfather, Iorgos came to visit us. My side of the family, including my own yiayia Fanouria came around to see him. He was a jovial old man, and made everyone around him jovial too.

"Ophelia, you're as beautiful as ever!" He said.

He met our girls for the first time, Frida loved him instantly. And it wasn't just because he brought her candy. He and my grandma Fanouria had only met once before, but when they greeted each other, it was like they were old friends. It was so beautiful to see.

Iorgos, AKA Papouli, as we all called him, was someone whom Jesse was especially close to. When the truth about his father came out, he did everything he could to help Mama Katsopolis and the kids. Needless to say he disowned his son. That wasn't the way he raised him. He had also heard about how he had just died, and that was an emotionally tumultuous time for us. Papouli didn't hesitate to come and comfort Jesse if needed.

Papouli felt guilty for a long time, wondering how his own son turned out the way he did.

"How did I not see the signs?!" He wondered to himself. "What did I do wrong to make him this way?! That wasn't my son."

"Papouli, he hid it very well. And it's NOT your fault! Besides, you took great care of us after the fact. When you moved in I was so excited!" Said Jesse.

"And Ophelia too!" He said. "I don't know how someone could hurt her and her brother like that. But I do know that she's a strong woman. Women like her a rare these days."

"She sure is special, Papouli." Said Jesse.

"Are there any of her koulourakia left?" Papouli whispered.

"Haha, yes." Jesse laughed, bringing Papouli into the kitchen. My biscuits were a well-known favorite with him too, it seemed!

Papouli was teaching Michelle and Frida how to dance. I was so proud, my baby girl was dancing the dances of our people for the first time!

"Well done, Frida, well done!" Papouli kept saying. "You too Michelle, you dance beautifully!"

Michelle was keen to bring Papouli to her school so that they could dance for her class. Afterwards they had a little rest.

"I love you, Papouli." Said Frida as she wrapped her arms around him.

"I love you too little angel." He said. I could really see they loved each other. I was so happy she could have the closeness like she had with her proyiayiá (great-grandmother) Fanouria (Frida called her "Mana Yiayia"). It was such a blessing, since most children don't have great-grandparents.

A while later, yiayia and I, along with Pam went to prepare dinner, and invited Frida, Michelle and Stephanie to join us so they could learn the fine art of cooking Greek style, just like I had when I was growing up. But the real fun part was when we started throwing flour everywhere, and before we knew it, Jesse and Papouli joined us in all the flour throwing!

"Opa!" We all cried, laughing our heads off, dancing while Greek music played in the background.

"HEY HEY WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!" Danny stopped us in our tracks. "What have you done to the kitchen?!"

We should've known that Danny would freak because of his strong cleanliness streak.

"Danny calm down, we were having a wonderful time!" Said Pam.

"You're Greek, you have fun!" Said Papouli. "Come and play with us!"

Initially, Danny was reluctant, but then we started throwing flour at him, so now that HE was covered in flour, he had no choice but to join us in the fun!

When we got home, needless to say we all had a bath. What a day that was. Frida was looking forward to seeing Papouli again the next morning when we'd go see the Tanners for breakfast.

The bath relaxed our girls so they were able to fall asleep very quickly. I then bathed myself. We have both a jacuzzi and shower in our ensuite, but I figured all I needed to do tonight was to wash the flour out of my hair. I then wrapped the towel around my body and dried my hair.

Jesse, who had already showered while I gave the girls their bath, was sitting on our bed, naked.

"Hey baby, since we're both naked..." He said as he walked up to me in a seductive manner, touching my face with one hand, and my body with the other as he kissed me. He carried me, facing him, arms and legs wrapped around him, over to our bed, gently laying me down. Jesse slowly savored my body, kissing me everywhere, caressing my skin. He gave me the tingles as he kissed my breasts, stroking my nipples with his tongue as he reached down for my sweet spot. I climaxed almost immediately and he massaged my g-spot with another finger, intensifying my orgasm. He then made love to me, bringing me and himself to orgasm. I fell asleep in his arms almost immediately. A beautiful night of making love, that's for sure.

The next morning, we went to the Tanner home, but we weren't expecting what was to come. Papouli had suddenly died in his sleep, as his heart gave out. Jesse was devastated, as Papouli was that one family member he was especially close to. So I took to being the one who broke the news to Frida so that Jesse didn't have to.

"Does this mean we will never see Papouli again?" She asked.

"Yes, sweetie. Sadly it does." I told her, comforting her.

My poor Frida started crying. It was always heart-wrenching for me to see my girls sad, but this was especially difficult, as Frida had only just met her propapou, grew close to him in that short time, and just like that, he was gone.

But the worst was when Michelle got up, expecting to take him to school with her, and we had to break the news to her. She didn't cope well at all. But she still wanted to show the dance Papouli taught her, so she put on the Greek music and started dancing before stopping.

"I can't remember anymore." She said, sadly.

"We can." Said Jesse, and he and I went into the classroom. We stood on either side of her, took her by the hand and danced with her. This particular dance, Jesse and I knew from our childhood!

Michelle got a standing ovation from her class when we finished the dance. The teacher thanked us for coming, and then we took our girls to the park. Our little Sonia was walking a lot now, and she was so carefree in the park. She didn't understand grief or death yet, and she was so innocent.

Jesse and I knew the thing to do next was to organize travel to Greece for Papouli's funeral. He was to be buried in the same cemetery as my parents. The Tanners and Mama Katsopolis were also coming. Danny comforted Jesse as he burst into tears.

After the funeral I visited my parents' grave

After the funeral I visited my parents' grave. It was on our way out anyway. Pam came and gently put her hand on my shoulder.

"They would've loved him." I told her, tearfully.

"I'm sure he would've loved them too." Said Pam, trying to soothe me.
