Pam was about to give birth to her 3rd child, and we were all so happy! Danny was going to stay with Pam at the hospital until she was ready to come home, so they called us to babysit the girls during that time, which we gladly did.
My album was due to be released later that year, but in the mean time, Jesse released his rendition of Elvis' 'Little Sister' with the Rippers, while I released my very own version of 'Fernando' by ABBA. Of course, I know my vocals will never be as good as the ladies of ABBA but I'm still satisfied with how the recorded turned out with my 'echoey' vocals, and that of my backing vocalists which included Therese.
It was February of 1987, and Jesse & I arrived at the Tanner home close to Pam's due date, so we could be here when she went into labor.
When we arrived, DJ and Steph were thrilled to see us. We hugged our beautiful nieces and greeted their parents.
"Good thing you took the earlier flight, you made it just in time for dinner." Said Pam.
"Yeah well, we like to fly early but not too early, because we like to be well-rested from our night of..."
"Fun!" Said Danny, obviously not wanting Jesse to finish his sentence in front of our young nieces.
"Fun... right." Said Jesse with his arm around me. We kissed, and he grabbed my derriere before moving to settle in our guest room.
"Jesse, I'd really like it if you didn't grope Ophelia when the girls are around." Said Danny.
"Danny, Ophelia is my wife, and I can touch her where, when, and how I want to." Retorted Jesse defensively.
"Uncle Jesse, let's play ballerina!" Said Stephanie, before Danny could respond.
"Uncle Jesse doesn't wanna play ballerina." Said Jesse.
"Yes he does." Protested Stephanie.
"No he doesn't."
"Yes he does!"
"No, he doesn't!" Jesse said, firmly.
"Yes he does!" Said Stephanie, pretending to cry. So they played ballerina, after which we upstairs to our guest room.
"Let's play ballerina again!" Said Stephanie, a while later.
"Steph, why don't you play with your Aunt Olia? Uncle Jesse as some unpacking to do." Said Jesse. So I played ballerina with Steph, did the moves, the "catching", twirling her in my arms, I actually enjoyed it. After all, it was a girly thing, so it's understandable Jesse didn't like doing it.
"Thanks Aunt Ophelia! You are even better than Uncle Jesse!" Said Stephanie as I put her back down. "Especially because Uncle Jesse's jacket stinks."
"Stephanie, that's not nice!" I reprimanded her. "He's sitting right there, he can hear you. Now go over there and apologize."
"Sorry Uncle Jesse." Said Stephanie.
"It's my favorite scent for cleaning leather jackets." Said Jesse. "Don't insult it."
We'd brought our guitars and everything, so we could rehearse together. Sometimes we'd jam with the girls. By this time, DJ & I had made a habit of playing ABBA where we'd sing & dance together, sometimes even role-play as I'd be Frida & DJ would be Agnetha.
Stephanie was such a good girl, but today she was up to her usual tricks of doing the crying routine. One time, she was trying to get Jesse to play tea party with us and he refused, but after doing her "crying routine" he relented.
It wasn't long before Pam went into labor. I helped her into the car, and then once she was in I held her hand as Danny got the hospital bag they'd prepared before the birth.
"Now girls, mind your manners and listen to Uncle Jesse and Aunt Ophelia." Said Danny, before swiftly kissing the girls goodbye, and zipping out of the driveway to get to the hospital.
Soon they were off and it was just me, Jesse and the girls.
The girls were a bit fidgety so I put on some Greek children's songs to dance to. Yes, Jesse and I may have been immature, but we were still proud of our Greek heritage.
I tucked Stephanie into bed. I read her one of Aesop's fables from that children's book Jesse & I bought for her & DJ in Greece while we were on our honeymoon. We figured it'd be a great way for her to learn to read and write in Greek as well as speak it.
Stephanie (and some years earlier DJ) and I read the children's Aesop book together, and oftentimes I'd help her with the letters and words.
"I love how you teach the girls Greek." Said Jesse. I smiled in response, and agreed that it was important for the girls to learn. After all, even though Jesse and I were both born in San Fransisco, we always spoke to each other in Greek. Pam would always talk to the girls in Greek and as such, Jesse and I would too.
Jesse kissed me passionately as I felt my clothes sliding off of me. Gosh he's so HOT without his shirt on, and that mullet... hot man!!
"Oh baby, you're sexy!" Jesse panted as he touched my body. I fell back onto the bed with him on top of me. He gently slipped into me, making me moan before kissing me, and passionately thrusting into me. He held me close as I caressed his body, running my hands across his toned, manly back.
He thrust inside me so hard I climaxed almost instantly, but it wasn't over after my first orgasm, because he thrust inside me deeper, and I came again soon after, moaning in pleasure as Jesse clutched me close. I then felt his arms tightening around me, and his nether region convulse as he cried out his release against my neck.
He kissed my neck so tenderly after our simultaneous climax and slowly rolled off of me. He caressed my face, wanting to cuddle with me and I rested my head on his shoulder with our arms still wrapped around each other.
"Oh baby, you're hot!" Said Jesse.
"So are you, my sweet hunk." I replied. "Can't help but wonder how Danny & Pam are doing in that hospital right now."
"I'm sure they're quite alright. They're coming home tomorrow." Said Jesse.
"I can't wait to meet our new niece!" I said, excited.
"Neither can I!" Said Jesse, also excited.
We shared a tender kiss, and fell asleep in each other's arms.
