CHAPTER 1:
Our spiker Hinata was well known for his happiness and energy. He would always make jokes and jump around. He used to always have a smile on his face and be excited about volleyball. It has always been that way!
But after time passed he began to act weird, his smile seemed fake, his happy aura was barely there and his friends began to worry. His skin looked pale and deep circles had started to show under his eyes. And the sparkles in his eyes seemed dead.
Nobody knew what was wrong and most of his friends in the team didn't ask.
At one point Hinata didn't even want to change with the others.. Kageyama, one of his best friends and the setter of the team, decided to talk to the teams 3 years after practice since Hinata was always the first to leave.
This is a conversation with the them:
"Hey Daichi, Suga.." started Kageyama as they wanted to leave. "Don't you think Hinata is acting weird?". Daichi and Suga looked the young setter in the eyes and Suga answered after some thinking "Yeah we already thought about talking to him.. He really is acting weird.. How about you talk to him? Maybe he'll trust you more since you are in the same year?"
Kageyama looked at the floor and nodded to his teammates' suggestion. "I really hope he is ok.. If he tells you anything serious please don't hesitate and talk to me immediately.." said his team captain in a mostly calm voice. Kageyama looked up, "Yes!"
After the conversation they all left and went their way home.
With Hinata:
"Great another day in hell.." Hinata wispert. His mother left with his sister Natsu because she was tired of Hinatas dad. Without Hinata's mom, and his dad being rarely home, he mostly lived on his own. His mom would often send letters with a little amount of money in it so the little spiker could buy himself food. The orange haired boy did in fact ask his mother why she left him.. Her answer was that she simply couldn't afford enough space. For Hinata it was clear that she just didn't want to take him with her. Whenever his dad was home he did nothing but sleep and scream at the young boy. As a result Hinata stopped eating regularly and didn't do social activities. He was stressed and had no one to talk to.Hinata entered his home and went straight to his room.
Ugh.. I'm so tired.. Maybe I should get some sleep? It won't help tho. What if dad comes home? Until now he only screamed at me but what if he starts hitting me? What would I do? I have way too many other things to think about..I'm sure the team has noticed by now that something is wrong. What if they ask? Who even cares..
With these thoughts Hinata went to sleep and woke up after some hours to the sound of a slamming door. He quickly opened his eyes and looked at his room entrance and saw his dad staring at him. "Shoyo?! Didn't I tell you to clean the fricking house you little shit?" screams the old man. Hinata began to shake and as he wanted to say something his father started to scream again, "You are such a disappointment and a mistake! Why didn't your mother take you with her?! Why were you even born??!". Hinata's eyes began to tear up and he began to notice the smell of alcohol as his father started to walk towards him. Why? Why is this happening? Why me?
His version has started to get blurry from all the tears of fear. The grown man stops right in front of the teenage boy and slaps him right in the face. "AHHHH! DAD!" screams Shoyo in pain. A red mark immediately starts to show on his pale face. "Now you know what happens if you disobey me you dumbass" while saying that his dad starts leaving the room. The orange haired boy is still in tears and disbelieving as he sits on his bed. What just happend? He really.. hit me. Hinata wanted to see if the slap had left any marks and walked his way to the bathroom. He closes the door behind him and looks in the mirror. On his left cheek was a visible hand mark fully red. He cries and cries to his own disappointment. I'm a mistake.. He is right! I'm so ugly! Hinata opens the door and goes back to his own room. Without anymore stressfull thinking he goes to bed.
