Idris is the shadowhunter capital, or some call it the shadowhunter country.

It is located in central Europe, and is home to lots of things, including: The Shadowhunter Academy, one of the entrances to the city of bones, the accords hall, and lots more.

Its where the consul and council stays, and the accords are signed (which is a kind of peace treaty between downworlders and shadowhunters).

It is protected by the glass towers, two very strong towers containing powerful angelic energy. These also have some added warlock wards to keep them up and running.

It is home to one of the mortal instruments, the mirror, which is lake Lynn. It also has the Brocelind Forest, which is home to a very dangerous pack of werewolves.
