David started acting at the age of 5 years, where he landed a Spongebob commercial on nickelodeon.

Even at a young age he starred in several movies, such as 'Palindromes', 'A guide to recognizing your saints', 'Bella', 'Little Fugitive', 'Arranged', 'Where God Left His Shoes', 'Tracks of Color', '27 dresses', 'The ministers', 'Forged', 'Fugly!', 'Tio Papi' and 'Ruta Madre'.

In later years he also acted in TV-Shows like 'Are we there yet?' and 'Blue Bloods'.

His biggest role to date is the role of Raphael Santiago in Shadowhunters.

He was nominated for the Imagen Award in the category "Best supporting actor" in 2008 for his role as Justin Diaz in "Where God Left His Shoes".

When David isn't acting and on a set, he spends a lot of time with music. He taught himself to play the piano and the guitar.

He also sings. The first song "Save me" is available on Youtube and other platforms. The song is co-written by his sister.

He also plays golf and dances a lot. He started dancing at the age of 6 and toured with a competition team, receiving a lot of first-place trophies.

He has a girlfriend since several years (sorry ladies :D) and a Doberman called Ezekiel.
