Hazel woke up from the same night mare she's been having for two years. Her father started to abuse her. Ella doesn't know much about it, but she has had her suspicions. Hazel saw that her diary was missing and knew she needed to tell her mother. "Mom!" She called out as she walked to her mother's room. "I have something that you need to know."

"He abused you."

"That wasn't the only thing he done mom."

Ella looked up at her with tears. Hazel didn't have to say a word as Ella hugged her. "His gone now, sweetie."

"I'm so glad." Hazel told her. "He abused me and molested others. I should have said something sooner, but I couldn't. Bella guessed it." Ella looked at her daughter. "I was afraid he would kill me and I think that's why he tried to because Bella knew."

Ella hugged her daughter as she called Charlie. "We are going over to Charlie's later and you will tell your uncle exactly what happened."

"Okay."

Hazel felt like a heavy burden was off her shoulders. Bella saw her and walked over. "You told her?" Hazel nodded. Bella hugged her as Hazel let tears fall. "Oh Hazel. Your free."

"I know, but I feel a big weight off my shoulders has been lifted and I like it." She said.

Edward saw her crying and walked away despite the pleas from his family. Bella saw and smiled. "I'll talk to you later, but right now, I think Edward would like to speak to you."

Hazel turned around to see Edward and smile. "Hey."

"Hey." He replies. "Are you okay?"

"Better than ever after I spoke to my mom about something that she should have known earlier." Hazel said as she hugged him. "I wanted to thank you some for reminding me that it's okay to talk to someone."

Edward hugged her back as he didn't know what to say. Alice smiled proudly because Hazel did the right thing in telling her mom. Edward looked at Alice and saw the vision. He became angry at the main reason behind this, but now she's safe. Hazel pulled back with a smile. "I'll see you later."

"Yeah."

Through out the day, Hazel was feeling better about herself. Her uncle came by and she told him all the horrible things he did to others and her.  Her abuse to remind her to keep her mouth shut. Now that everyone knows what actually happened they were proud of Hazel.

When she walked into the cafeteria to get her lunch, the room erupted in applause. Hazel was confused as Edward walked over to her. "Let's go somewhere else." He tells her.

"What's going on?"

"They know all about you what you done." He tells her as the walked out. "You got people to speak up."

"I wanted people to know that I wanted to tell someone about his abuse towards me and the molesting to others." Hazel sighed. "That never got to happen."

Edward grabbed her hand and turned her around. "You did the right thing. He would have killed you."

"He tried that when Bella figured it out." Hazel tells him. "He didn't exactly tell me where we were going, but he said he wanted to apologize for the abuse he put me through."

"Hazel, you don't have too..."

"No. I want to." She tells him as she sat in the floor with Edward beside her. "He told me he loved me before driving off." Hazel looked back at him. "I never once thought I would be here after what he had done to me."

"Hey, your free now."

Hazel smiled and knew Edward was right. "You're right. I am free."

Edward stood up and held his hand out for her. Hazel smiled and put her hand in his. Edward pulled her up. They smiled at one another before they walked off to class hand in hand. One step closer.
