Chapter4

Matthew POV-

"Jessica you have to go before Miley gets back." I awaken in the middle of the night scared that Miley will enter the room to see a half naked girl sleeping beside me.

"Fine!" She said softly as she got up and put on her clothes.

I look at the clock: midnight. Where's Miley anyways?

Jessica kissed me good bye as she walk out the door.

___Alice POV__

"Just try to go to sleep, please?" John wrap his arms around me in comfort.

I was scared out of my mind. I stood in Emily's room watching her sleep. Her life's in danger. All because of me.

"I can't. I'm scared if I leave this one something will happen to her." I sobbed.

John pick up Emily carefully,"fine she'll sleep with us."

I felt more relaxed knowing my daughter is sleeping right next to me.

Josh killed Jessie. So no hesitation he will kill Emily and me.

A tear slip from my eyes. How could this be?

Leah POV___

"Way to go on escaping!" I hug my brother.

"Thanks sis." Josh smiled as he took a seat on the couch. Then he lit a cigar.

"We don't have long until the cops find out you escape and start looking for you. So what's the plan?"

"Kill Emily." He said coldly.

I started to feel guilty,"Josh.. I don't think we should kill her. She's so young. "

"So? If we kill Emily, Alice lost her everything and know she will feel my pain. "

"So that's it? Kill Emily and go back to prison..for years?"

"Yeah."

"Why not kill Emily and Alice?"

"Cause I want Alice to break down."

"Josh I'm sorry but I don't think I can help you."

"Excuse me?" He stood up.

"I'm thinking about turning you in."

He step closer to me. "I don't think you should."

"Why? You can't do anything to me.. I'm you're sister."

"Correction: you are my adoptive sister."

"Adoptive?"

"Yeah. You don't belong with me. You never had. Mom and dad found you outside a burning house. "

"I'm still you're sister."

"Correction.."

I pick up the phone and dial 911.

"Correction?" I stumble. "Hello? I like to report an fugitive."

He gave a smile,"was." He said softly.

I felt a peircing stab enter my skull making me fall. Flash backs of my life started to appear.

I could feel the blood oozing out my head as the metal in my head warm up.

"Hello? 911 here. Hello?" I could hear the dispatcher voice dissolved.

"Correction: you WAS my adoptive sister."

Those was the last words I ever heard until I saw a light...

----Matthew POV-----

I paced around the room. It's 7:50 AM. Where in the hell is Miley. Is this how she felt, anticipated because I wasn't home yet.

She's always home before morning. Waking up and putting on her tone and treading to the kitchen like usual. But she's not.

I pick up the phone and called Alice.

"Alice here." Her voice seem like she just woken up.

"Is Miley over there?"

"No.. Why?"

"She didn't come home last night."

"She stay at work a little later I know that she said she was going to stop someone. "

"It's been 12 hours! "

"Oh my goodness." She seem terrified.

____Miley POV___

I woken up in bed next to a guy I barely knew.

As I gotten up and put on my clothes my legs felt weak.

He look up at me,"baby.. Where you going?"

"Home." I went towards the door.

"You can run but you can't hide."

"What do you mean?" I turn to look at him.

"You're pregnant." He touch my stomach gently.

"No! No what are you talking about."

"Baby, don't you remember last night you took the test and it came out positive."

I took a step back.

"No way. No.." I jerk the door open as I ran downstairs.

"She went to work and stay there a little bit longer." I told the police.

"Have you talk to here since then?"

"No. I was busy." I felt guilty.

The door swung open as Miley open the door. Her make up smear, as if she's been crying.

"Miley!" I ran to her. "What's wrong?"

"I was raped." She began to cry.

The police look at her,"shall we investigate this?" They ask.

"No! No, it will cause trouble."

The police walk out,as if they where done with there duty, Miley look at me.

"Matt." She said shyly,"I'm pregnant."
