•THIRTY SIX pt2•

REAL QUICK before we get into this one I haven't been proofreading my stories so I can get them out fast so if you see a wrong name it's probably because I was watching a movie and heard their name and typed it out (I do it an embarrassing amount) so I apologize for the wrong names and accidentally leaving the story plot at the top of the story because I forgot to remove it before posting.
I will start reading through before I post because I clearly need to lol

Taylor went back into the living room feeling like a horrible friend for not saying anything but she cared more about her heart than anything so she silently watched the two laugh and talk while her heart broke at Jessica's obliviousness...

It has been months since Taylor has decided to not mention her catching her best friend's boyfriend cheating on her and it's been eating her up ever since.
She's tried to be there for Jessica and her unborn baby but it's hard because Taylor doesn't want to be around Stephen and Stephen doesn't want Jessica around Taylor, it's become a whole big thing and Taylor knows the truth and that is Stephen wants to make sure Taylor doesn't say anything about what she saw.

Taylor had decided it's time to come clean about what went down that night and be honest about the man her best friend is being played by so she invited Jessica out for lunch to explain everything and hopefully help her get through it.

Jessica agreed on meeting her so that's where they both headed this afternoon.
Taylor sat at the outside table waiting for Jess she chose to sit outside to hide any potential outburst from all the people trying to eat inside.

After a short while of waiting, she saw Jess approaching already looking slightly upset with her tiny baby bump.

"Hey Jess, I'm glad we could meet up today" she smiled unsure of how to start this.

"Yeah me too, we have a lot to talk about"

"Okay I guess we should just get into-"

"First off how could you even do that to me?"
Taylor was quickly caught off guard unsure of what Jessica was talking about.

She slightly teared up "you are supposed to be my best friend"

"What are you even talking about"

"I trusted you over everybody else. You were supposed to be the Godmother to my child all for you to stab me in the back?"

"Okay I need you to explain"

"Stephen told me everything. The bar?"

Taylor raised a brow encouraging her to go on.

"You tried to kiss my boyfriend... you were supposed to have my back" Jessica wasted no time getting up and leaving while Taylor sat there trying to understand what had just happened.

                                                 ***The night before

Jessica and Stephen sat on the couch watching a movie with Jess laying across Stephen, the night was mostly silent until Stephen broke the silence with his "confession".

"Baby we need to talk..." he said pausing the movie.

She nodded while he gathered his words.

"A couple of months ago when I want to the bar and I almost cheated..."

Jessica moved her legs from his lap.

"I didn't want to tell you because I knew it would kill you when you found out and I stopped it the second it happened but... it was Taylor... Taylor tried to kiss me"

"Taylor? Like my Taylor?"

"Yes I ran into her and she had clearly been drinking and I asked her if she was okay and she leaned over and tried to kiss me... I'm so sorry baby"

She started to tear up at the thought of her best friend doing something like that.

Stephen took her into his arms to try and comfort her.

"I'm so sorry she did that to you but I cut it off immediately and I didn't want to tell you because you guys are so close"

She pulled herself away from him.

"I can't either baby"

Stephen put his hands around her again to make sure she was okay.
He kissed her head to help her cope with the betrayal of her own best friend... or what she thought was the betrayal of her best friend...
