Stephen and I are happily married, in a world full of hate and evil people I can always count on Stephen to come home to and find peace and composure. And he can find the same in me. I take it as my job to make sure he is happy and taken care of so In moments like this when I can't make him feel better and take his pain away... I'm kinda lost.
To stand here watching him roll on the floor in pain and not be able to help him it breaks my heart.
Sonya: he will be okay, its probably nothing.
Y/n: he looks so helpless...
As I just watched my husband land on his hand and then have another guy land on him anybody in the arena could tell he was hurt as the way he yelled while laying on the floor holding his hand.
As I walked to the locker room I prayed he was okay knowing he's gonna be upset about this.
As I walked through the door seeing Stephens's sad eyes as they were checking his hand I felt my heartbreak for him. He worked so hard getting ready for this season and it just got ripped out from his hands in a matter of seconds. He gave me a weak smile and put his arm out for a hug.
Y/n I'm sorry babe
Stephen just shook his head and closed his eyes in response there was really nothing to say at this moment...

After a stressful two hours of waiting and waiting Stephen is finally out of surgery.
These kinds of injuries are never easy, talking to the doctor hearing that he's done till at least March broke my heart knowing how much he loves this game having to sit out crushed him.
I'm trying so hard to take care of him but it's so difficult because I can't do anything to make this better for him. He's been laying in bed watching tv for hours sleeping on and off, he looks bored out of his mind.
If all goes well he wont be like this for long because I have a surprise for him.

I heard a knock on the door and knew they were here, I couldn't help but smile knowing this is just what Stephen needed right now.
I opened the door to Draymond, Klay, Bryant, and Seth. Soon they were all in the bedroom laughing and messing around the whole house just felt better. It had been about an hour and a half and they were still laughing, making jokes, and telling stories. I was leaning against the door frame smiling just watching them all have a good time and Steph looked at me and mouthed "thank you". Things finally felt normal again and I loved it.
