AYA'S P.O.V
It's a chill Saturday night and I was at home getting ready to study for a big test I have Monday, I'm in my second year of college and it's pretty nice. I'm also dating the NBA player Stephen Curry, we've been dating for a little over 7 months and things are going pretty well.
I was going to grab my books and sit down when I realized none of my books are here... I studied at Stephens a couple of days ago and completely forgot about it.
I texted Stephen to ask if he was home but he didn't answer. As much as I didn't want to leave the house I really needed to study for this test. I grabbed a sweatshirt and my keys, I got in my car and headed to Stephens it was about a 25-minute drive so on my way there I tried to call Steph again but there was no answer. Luckily I had a key to his apartment so I could grab my books and leave if he wasn't there.
I pulled into the building parking lot and got out I got to his door and knocked, his roommate Tyler answered.
"Hey what's up Aya!" He gave me a side hug.
After 7 months of seeing each other almost every day we had no choice but to become friends.
"Hey Tyler is Stephen here?"
"Yea I think so. He should be in his room"
He moved to the side so I could enter. I thanked him as I walked to his room.
I opened the door and felt my heart drop to my stomach at the scene I'm in front of me.
I didn't say a word as I stood there numbly.
After what felt like an eternity but was realistically about 10 seconds I turned around and quietly shut the door I didn't want him to know I was there.
I walked to the kitchen island to grab my stack of books with tears running down my face. Tyler was walking out of his room as I was walking out of the apartment.
"Hey Aya you good?" Concerned in his voice.
"Yea I'll see you later" I barely choked out before I shut the door.

Stephens P.O.V
I fixed my shorts as I walked into the kitchen to get something to eat. It quickly caught my attention on how empty the island was.
No no no no no I thought as I rushed to Tyler door before repeatedly banging on it.
"Yo chill what happened?"
"Please tell me you took aya's books off the island?"
"Nah man Aya came by like an hour ago and got them. How did you not notice she went into your room?"
"You can't be serious!" I yelled running into my room to get dressed before heading to Aya's.

Aya's P.O.V
It felt impossible to drive because I couldn't stop crying, I got home after stopping on the side of the road to cry my eyes out. As I walked into my apartment I texted my best friend savannah as much as I wanted to be alone I also didn't want to be alone. She was there in like 10 minutes.
"Baby what happened?" She walked over to the couch where I was sitting crying into a pillow.
"Well I don't think Stephen and I are gonna stay together..."  I controlled my crying as much as possible.
"Oh Aya why not"
"Well he had an accident today, where he fell..." she looked at me obviously confused about the situation.
"Right into his ex..." she tried to hold back a laugh bud failed as a slight chuckle came out, you could see the fear in her eyes as it slipped. She put her hands over her mouth.
"Oh my gosh I am so sorry Aya" then took me into a hug. I laughed slightly as I found myself funny.
"Do you want me to kill him? Cut his breaks? Kidnap his family?"
"I'm gonna say no for right now but I might change my mind."
As she held me on the couch my phone started going off.
We both knew who it was but I picked my phone up to see what lies he was telling me.
Before I could read it savannah knocked my phone out of my hands.
"Screw him. Let's go get food." I laughed
"Why go out to them when they can bring it to us" I raised my eyebrows. She smiled.
After we ordered food we got a movie ready because why not have a date night with your best friend after getting cheated on. We turned on frozen because we are just kids in adult bodies.
We heard a knock on the door and I went to get it as savannah sat on the couch.
"Haha nope" I said before I shut the door.
"Umm that's not how you get the food you know that right?" Savannah said.
"Yea that was Stephen so I think it was only fair."
"What! Why is he here? Is this my moment? Can I kill him?"
She said standing up before I grabbed her arm to pull her back to the couch.
The knocking didn't stop, you could hear Stephen through the door but I didn't want to give in.
"Do you want me to just tell him to leave?"
"No I should be the one to do it..."
Savannah nodded okay as I got up to answer the door. I walked outside so I didn't have savannah as an audience.
"Baby what you saw was nothing I swear that meant absolutely-"
"I know I know it's not what it looks like, let you explain, it was just a stupid mistake it meant nothing she doesn't mean as much to you as I do right?" He looked at me unable to find words.
"I'm so sick of this little dance I have to go through with every guy who swears he's different than the one before... I'm so tired of dealing with people like you I'm not falling for this again Stephen we are done." I said before walking back into my apartment and closing the door leaving Stephen standing there speechless.

****the next morning

"No please no"
"Aya what's wrong in there," savannah asked knocking on my door as she slept over the night before.
I started crying and savannah opened the door to see what was going on.
Her eyes got wide as she looked over at me
"Oh my gosh..."
She took me into a hug as I cried holding the positive test in my hand.

So fingers crossed it's as good as I'm my head lol
