This is just a little superwho diddy. Enjoy!
It had been twelve months since The Doctor had saved you from the weeping angels and took you on marvelous adventures people couldn't even dream of. That means six whole months without an adventure. You counted the days, and then the weeks, and eventually months. The worst thing is that you were still counting. The couch was worn were you had slept on it, waiting late into the night for his return.
You can never sit still. Getting use to work and the mundane lifestyle you lead was no easy feat after traveling through time and space. Sleeping was boring so that's something you don't do often. Everything was dull, and nothing could keep your attention. Your family worries constantly, but you couldn't help it, you needed adventure.
One day you are laying on your couch and throwing a bouncy ball up and catching it. It was dull, and you are about to stop when the phone rang. You throw the ball in the air but don't catch it. It rings once, then it rings again. You never get callers, never ever. You run to pick it up, you pray it was the Doctor. On the third ring, you pick it up. What you hear in the other line is not your fun-loving man, but instead a deep voice. "Hello, I'm Castiel and I was sent by the Doctor to get you."
He is so blunt. "The Doctor needs me? Okay, where will you be getting me?" You couldn't believe the blind trust that you already had just because he mentioned the Doctor.
"Uh, right now in your living room I believe. Driving this thing really is tricky."
"Well, if you bring it here to me, I can drive it." As soon as you say those words, you feel the wind that the TARDIS gives off blowing through your living room. You hear the "whoosh" and excitement bubbles up inside of you. You turn around to see the big, blue box in the middle of your living room.
The door creaks open and a man wearing a beige trenchcoat steps out. He has dark, tousled hair and blue eyes that could blow you away."Are you (y/n)?" You nod because you can't really talk. The inside of your mouth is dry. "Okay, you are needed by the Doctor. He is stuck and needs your help. Apparently you are the most qualified."
"Probably at the moment I am." He steps inside without a word. You push through the door and walk up to the console. "Castiel, what are you? Its apparent you aren't human."
"I'm an angel of the lord, and I'm flying a box that can take me anywhere. Right now isn't the time to be jumping to conclusions."
You grin to yourself as a joke brews itself inside of you. "If you're an angel, and you're driving the TARDIS, I guess the Angels have the phonebox." He gives you a sideways glance as you giggle. "Nevermind." He nods and looks confused as he throws a gear. You walk up to him, "That's wrong." You say as you push a button and crank something, hurling you both into time and space.
