Chapter 9- A Birthday to remember

Sorry guys there's some unnecessary swearing in this chapter, just try to ignore it if you don't like swearing :/

It's been a few weeks now. Malfoy and I have been doing tutoring weekly and I'm starting to get the hang of potions. We haven't moved on to controlling my powers yet because he believes that potions class is more important right now. He literally just tells me the answers so I'm not really learning anything. He's also been so rude to me around school and in class, but luckily his brother always sticks up for me.

Today is the 19th September which is me and Hermione's birthday. What a coincidence that we share a birthday and a dorm haha. We are a both turning 14. Kind of miss Mikey today, we made plans that he would take me to a nice meal, and we'd have a party after, and I'd stay the night. That's obviously not happening.

At breakfast Hermione and I open presents, luckily, it's a Sunday so we don't have to do any work. I get a picture in a frame of me and my mom so I can put it on my bedside table, this brings a tear to my eye. I also see there's a letter from Mikey. Maybe he gave it to my mom to send to me. I open the letter and it says "My dear Jessa, happy birthday! I miss you more and more each day. Not a minute goes by where I don't think about you. You're always on my mind beautiful and I wish I could be with you on your special day. Anyways I hope you're having an amazing time at boarding school and I trust you to stay loyal and I can't wait to see you at Christmas. Lots of love your hubby, Mikey x" aw bless him. I can't wait to see him at Christmas too. And of course, I am going to stay loyal to him.

We all spend the day chilling and having a laugh. I'm so glad I've made friends so quick. They all seem real, unlike the ones at my Muggle school. At dinner we all plan to have a drinking gathering after hours in me and Hermione's dorm as it's our birthday. Luckily, I packed loads of alcohol because I thought there'd be parties every weekend, haha ... I was wrong, very wrong. I look up from the table and see Malfoy and Zabini walk past, whispering to each other and laughing. I really hope they didn't hear us because we'll be in trouble.

It turns 10pm and we've just got told to stay in our dorms until the morning. We get dressed in casual outfits and I put a bit of makeup on. Harry, Ron, Neville and Seamus arrive, and we lock the door.

I get the alcohol out and find out it's everyone's first time drinking. What a boring group of people. Joking obviously. I can introduce them to the wonderful world of alcohol. *sigh* I'm only 13 as well. Actually, 14 today :)

We have three shots of Vodka each to start the night off right, but Hermione thinks it's irresponsible so she's on lookout in case Dumbledore catches us. I give the lads a beer each and I have a Vodka and Coke whilst Hermione just has a coke. Hermione leaves the room to get a pack of playing cards from the Common Room. Whilst she's gone, Harry clears his throat and says "Jessa, couldn't help but notice how beautiful you look tonight" I blush as it was so unexpected. "I agree" Neville says. "I agree as well" Seamus also says, joining in. This is so sweet. "Agree with what?" Hermione asks, in the doorway.

We all sit in silence, thinking of an answer. "About how bloody brilliant tonight's going to be" Ron shouts whilst holding a beer up "Happy birthday to my favourite girls". We all clink our glasses together and say "Happy birthday" as we all take a sip.

We spend a lot of the night just talking and getting drunk. I wish we had music, but it's fine without it as we're not really awkward. I feel Harry looking at me, but I try not to look back because I'm trying to stay loyal to Mikey. I really miss him.

It reaches 12am and Ron is fucking hammered because it's his first time drunk and he's probably a bit excited. The other boys don't seem to like beer as much because they've been on the same one all night but bless them for trying. We hear someone knock on the main common room door.
