It's Sunday 15th May and I'm sitting in the kitchen, eating cereal. My mom gives me a letter from Hogwarts, so I open it. It says my suspension is over and I have to go back tonight as we are going to a campsite tomorrow to study magical creatures. I pack my bag and my mom drops me off at the train station.
When I arrive at Hogwarts, I see Malfoy also getting off the train. We make slight eye contact. I hope we can sort things out. Hagrid takes us to our common rooms.
Everyone seems pretty mad with me at first, but I apologize, and they forgive me quite easily. Hermione tells me they have earned 500 house points whilst I've been gone. Jesus Christ, they work hard.
The next morning, all the third years get on a flying coach which takes us to the campsite. When we get there, we have to set up our two-man tents using magic. I'm sharing with Hermione. We get separated into our houses and we go off to do separate things. Gryffindor all get boats and we get to go fishing to find magical water creatures. We catch a few and they're beautiful. On the night, we toast marshmallows round the camp fire. Everyone seems to be having a good time, including Malfoy, which is promising. As we're getting ready to go to bed, I see Malfoy getting in a tent with Zabini. Thank God it's not Pansy.
I have a really rough night sleep. I hardly sleep as it is so uncomfortable. Everyone is moody around the camp fire in the morning but Malfoy looks kind of cute with his coffee. Hagrid makes us all a bacon sandwich each. It's very good. Gryffindor go rock climbing and when we're at the top, we spot different types of birds. I lowkey miss being with Malfoy because when we get back to the campsite, I get excited to see him. When we eat dinner, we look at each other from across the fire. My heart feels warm, but he gives me a dirty look. Guess he still hates me. The night sleep is better than last nights but still not brilliant. Hermione and I make jokes for most of the night.
Thenext morning, we all wake up in a bad mood again. Malfoy is annoying everyoneby insulting them for no reason. Today we are digging up magical insects fromthe ground. This is really tiring and boring. After dinner, Hagrid decides toshow us a cave near a forest. All the houses follow him. This is what I'mwearing:
