UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTER

Y/N POV

Waking up early that to on weekend is the worst. I wonder how can someone work on Saturday. Basically this is not work what I am doing now but just a formality being in Airport to pickup my so called new BOSS.

Sorry forgot to tell that I am Park Y/N 27 years old a journalist who works on a women's magazine 'STILLOUTTE'. It is the most selling magazine in New York. And I am one of the top writers out of the five. I have an older brother Park Jimin who is editor and assistant to the the CEO in Stilloutte's sister company 'ADIOS'. He is 30 years old and is engaged to his long time girlfriend Natalie.

Flashback

I was at boss' cabin waiting for her while she was on a phone call talking to her boyfriend.......

*WTF am I doing here listening to her conversation with her boyfriend* thought to myself.

Finally the phone call ended.

" So Y/N I have a work for you honey. But before that I want to tell you that I am going on a vacation after 2 days for 3 months with my boyfriend." Boss said

" So boss basically you wanted to tell me that you are going on a long leave ? " I asked

" No sweetie not just that. The new boss of our sister company 'ADIOS' will replace me for 3 months. I want you to do whatever he wants or says. He is smart and has great ideas for your articles." Boss said

"Okay boss but the conditions are same. He won't edit my article. I myself will edit it." I said

"Do whatever he says Y/N. You know better if you don't do what are the consequences." Boss said sternly

"But boss I am the top most writer here. He can't just order around me." I said

"If you want to keep the job then you better do what he says and that's final no more discussions." Boss said angrily

*She knows very well I need this job. I can't just go back to my hometown and say I quit my job. I don't want to work in my father's company after going back.* I thought

"Okay. I will do it boss." I said sadly

"Great. Now the major part is he is coming on Saturday morning and you need to go pick him up from the airport." Boss said

I was shocked like WTH man why would I ? " Boss why should I go ? He is actually the boss of ADIOS. Someone from there can pick him up. Why me ?" I asked her

"Y/N I know honey you love your weekends but you have to go. No one else is available that day to pick him up. And it's just a matter of 2 hours or so. You can handle it sweetie." She smiled and said.

"Ohhh... Okay I will go." I said with a fake smile on my face.

"Thank you so much Y/N. You are the best. Now if you have something to ask you can or you may leave."

"Boss how will I recognise him. Can you give me his number or something so I could contact him." I asked

"Sure sweetie. I will text you his number." Boss said

"Okay then I will leave. Happy vacation boss. Bye" I said and left.

This is how I ended up in airport at a Saturday morning. *Fuck my life.* I thought.

I took my phone out and was staring at the number. Somehow that number seems too familiar. But I don't remember why.
