If you knew the future, you'd wish you didn't.

*NARRATOR'S POV*

"Who?" Harry managed to put Louis back under the covers to rest, before joining the doctor in the

hallway.

"The girl I called earlier, Marie and two other gentlemen are here. They all know Louis." She

explains, an anewed smile on her face after observing Louis' and Harry's interaction shortly prior.

"He's sleeping now." Harry turns cold, because these people could not know he was here.

He had to stay but it would be better if he didn't. What if Louis woke up and he wasn't here?

"Do you want me to ask them to leave?"

Harry knew she was being sarcastic. "No. He would want to see them."

"Not your friends, I take it." She speaks as if it's completely understandable. Harry had nothing

"I have to be here. Unlike in your case, Louis wants me here."

The doctor excuses herself by walking away. Zayn laughs, and Harry had the powerful urge to

break the promise he made to Louis. Nobody ever laughed at him. He regrets not having worn a

bandanna because that kept his anger at bay before he gave in and let nature take its course.

"Fucking wanker." Zayn insults. Marie is no longer standing behind her brother.

"Zayn, mate. Not the place." Niall grabs his friend's arm.

Zayn shoves him off and steps in Harry's face, a man much taller and less intimidated because

Zayn looked pumped full of enough illegal substances to have him knocked out cold with one of

Harry's delivered blows.

Marie had followed Dr. Annabeth to the door that stood behind Harry's tower of strength. The

door had been closed and now the doctor ushered her in before explaining Louis' state and
