It's graduation day. Everyone is wearing their gowns. Jane's for some reason is different to everyone else's with details in pink. Blake walks up to receive his diploma. He grabs his diploma and does a flip. As he lands it starts raining and we all cheer. Then, a loud music starts playing, I'm looking around to figure out where It's coming from, it's my ringtone.

I wake up. I have three missed calls from Jane and one from Liam. I call Jane.

"We have to take a trip before graduation! I've already been looking at some ideas." - Jane says all excitedly.

-Why don't we plan something for after graduation? - I answer still half asleep.

"Okay... But we should start planning!" - I sigh.

-Are you with Liam? He called me too.

"No, you should call him back. I'll keep looking up trips."

I hang up on Jane and call Liam.

"Hi, Hannah." - Liam sounds sad. Not at all like how he was just yesterday.

-Hi, what's up? - He takes a bit to answer.

"I have good news and bad news."

-Just tell me everything! - I answer a bit ticked off.

"Good news is I'm still playing your prince in the play." - I feel something turning in my gut. This can't be happening. "The other news is Blake won't be coming back. Ever"

I feel dizzy and angry. Why would he give up on us? Why would he go away when everything was just starting? I knew he said he would go away; I just didn't think it would be so fast. And...

-...without saying goodbye? - Liam coughs.

"He wanted me to say it for him. It's hard on him too, Hannah."

I hang up. This sucks. The one time I open my heart up to someone he decides to go away forever.

.

It's Monday, the day of the play. I'm looking at the gown hanging in my wardrobe door. My mom pops her head through my bedroom door.

-Honey it's almost time for the play. We have to go now. I'm going to have to drive or we won't make it.

I shrug and decide to get up. I grab the dress and walk out with my parents.

.

I look through the curtains and look at the crowd. It's completely full. I don't see him. Jane grabs my elbow.

-If he could be here, he probably would. - She hugs me. She smells like coconut and cocoa butter. Jane's hug soothes me but there's something broken inside me that I don't think will go away for a long time.

-It's go time! - someone comes tell us.

-Alright everyone, let's do this. - Jane hugs us all in a group hug and we start the play.

.

The play was a success. The crowd went wild cheering for us. Liam was incredible. Jane and I received flowers and after the play we spoke to interesting people who recognized our talent. It felt like a massive hug from the universe. But it didn't feel like enough.
