FEIVEL'S POV

The flight was scheduled at two in the afternoon on 13th. It was one of those occasions where I was shaking with nervousness. This is a huge step when I'm concerned about my son and Shorty. I just can't sit back and let Shorty get hurt and I even am worried about my son been hurt when I am six hundred miles away.

I had no option but trust my gut feeling.

Last night, I emailed some vital information about Miaa to Officer Cooper. Which includes, her full name, about her family, her house address back at South Carolina, her former mobile number and her email.

Officer Cooper was a great help and indeed insisted that I play along with her plan 'cause he got a hunch where Arne was. I reluctantly booked tickets for two and now we are up for the airport.

The whole drive to the airport summed up with Miaa glued to my arm like a Koala bear, the driver giving awkward glances through the rearview and me rubbing my temples growing a headache.

She keeps playing with the ring, she bought herself, as proof of our engagement. This woman is just so dramatic.

When we finally get to sit in our seats on the flight, the whole mood of Ms Dramaqueen changed. She kept glaring at me from her seat while I close my eyes and lay back.

I said I booked two tickets, I never said I booked two adjacent tickets. *shrugs*

Being above the sky seems to be putting me on ease, I try so hard not to sleep, 'cause I definitely will encounter the dream again. But, my tired body got nothing to argue for and I drift off.

----------

I wake up to the announcement of landing. I soak up the sweat from my forehead and buckle my seat belt.

Once, we are out of the airport, I reluctantly stick to Miaa's side. My parents' place is an hour ride from the airport. I throw in the address to the driver and get seated as the engine start.

I never intended to take Miaa home. But, I was helpless when it was put as a condition. I had no option but to agree.
All the way home felt like been trapped in a cage with my hunter on my side.

Finally, when we reached home, I dashed out of the door and threw some cash to the driver not bothering to look at the charge. I carry my luggage to the door not worrying to offer help for hers.

What? I didn't tell her to pack that shit load of things.

I ring the bell and tap my foot against the floor. It's been four years since I have been home. I'm nervous... scared. My parents exactly knew what happened when Arne was born. They know everything. But, I need to find an accurate reason to state when they see Miaa with me again.

The door opens and the middle-aged woman stands in blue jeans and a white pullover. Her brown hair made in a messy bun while blue-green eyes fill with tears.

"Mom!" I smile my best but feel weak when a tear slips her eye. I haven't seen them for so long. Sure, I asked them to come to visit me but there hasn't been a visit for a year.

"Feivel!" she tackles me in a big hug, crushing me in the process. She got a lot of strength for a woman of 5'3.

"Can't breathe" I fake cough.

"Shut up" she exclaims not releasing me. I smile honestly this time and hug her back with so much love. "I missed you" she sobs in my chest.

"I missed you too, mom" I rub her back gently.

"Come on in. Where is my grandson?" she asks, cheerily. My breath hitch on the mention of my son.

"Mom. Arne isn't w-"
