"Hasn't anyone taught you not to touch a lady without her consent?" His voice rang through my ears. I stared in shock, shaking from what could have happened.

The man groaned on the ground. "How do you know she isn't my girlfriend or something?"

A petty laugh escaped the winged figures lips. "Anyone with a working brain could tell that she didn't want you touching her!" The hero was very intimidating when he was mad. He reached down shaking the man by the collar of his shirt. "If I ever find out you touch another girl without her permission again, I will have you running for the hills. The cops are on there way, you aren't going anywhere."

I was met with golden eyes that were illuminated by the darkness, eyes that I recognized. "Hey, you came back."

"Songbird, are you okay? Did he do anything?" His hand reached for my face as he scooped me up in his arms, helping me balance on my own two feet.

I smiled drunkenly "No, I'm okay now that your here." I wrapped my arms around him letting out a shaky breath. "Thank you."

"Anything for you dove." Sirens were heard in the distance, letting us know the cops were close. "How's your head doing? Did it get hurt anymore?" I shook my head against his chest. We waited for the cops to cuff the guy, then took a statement from Hawks, and finally left the two of us alone outside the alley.

"Let's get you home dove." I nodded with my arms still wrapped around him like a safety blanked. With his wings folded over me, he provided warmth. He held onto me, walking back to my apartment, which thankfully was only a twenty minute walk.

"I would have never taken you for the drinking type you know." I didn't respond. I was so happy he came back, I was worried I would never see him again, but here he was before me, saving me all over again.

"I know your probably too drunk to even process anything, but what happened back there? Did you know him?"

"Uh uh," I shook, "Every time I was by myself he kept showing up, what did he want with me?"

"I don't wanna know dove, and neither do you. You're going to be just fine." We made it to my apartment finally, he helped me up the steps and into the bathroom the whole time, not letting go of me for one second.

"Let's get you cleaned up okay?" I nodded slowly as he started with my hair. He gently massaged my scalp with his fingers. I moaned with pleasure.

"Your hands feel nice."

He smirked as he continued to take his fingers and work out any tangles. "Where's your makeup remover songbird?"

"Under the sink," I hummed, missing the touch of his hands already.

"It's a shame we have to wipe off this work of art," he commented. I leaned into him, allowing his tender hands to work their magic, wiping off the makeup I had put on earlier. "There she is, still as beautiful as ever."

I smiled. "You're more beautiful," I returned.

He rolled his eyes. "You're just saying that."

"No," I shook my head back and forth. "You're the most beautifully bird boy I've ever seen, so attractive." I stared into his eyes hoping he wouldn't dare to look away. "You're eyes are so pretty." I cooed.

A blush rose from his cheeks, his smirk only deepened. "It's a good thing you're drunk dove, you wouldn't wanna know the things I'd do to you if you were sober." I sent an equally flirtatious smirk back.

"Can I pet your hair? it looks soft like the rest of you," I asked gently. He stared for a moment, before getting to his knees in front of me. I ran my hands through his soft, golden blond locks. I pulled him closer, wanting to feel all of him against me. "So fluffy," I murmured, if I had a say in the matter I would've stayed there forever, holding him tightly, because if I let him go for even a second, he might never come back.
