"Great, see you soon, baby doll" I tell her, still smiling from ear to ear.

"See you soon." she says back and I can tell she's smiling on the other end of the phone too.

Damn, I didn't expect her to actually say yes. I really can't believe I called her while she was in the bath. Now I can't get the image out of my head. I quickly get my things and run out to my truck.

I'm halfway there when one of my favorite songs comes on the radio (Breland feat. Sam Hunt "Don't Touch My Truck") so I turn it up and feel the music pound in my truck. This feeling right here, when I not only hear but feel the music makes me so thankful to have followed my passion with this and start my own stereo shop.

I love going to work and making people happy when they drive away bumpin' to one of their favorite jams. I pull into the parking lot at Kenzie's apartment building and turn down my stereo once I park.

Hopefully she heard me pull in and knows I'm here. Well, this should be interesting! I'm at her door within a couple minutes and I knock.

"Hey" she opens the door and greets me.

"Hey" I say back as she opens the door for me to come in.

I turned to look at her after she shut the door and I had to stop myself from staring too hard. She's wearing these tight hot pink shorts, a white tank top and some cute fuzzy socks. Lord help me be the perfect gentlemen! Oh great I looked too long, now she thinks I'm a perv. She clears her throat and turns around.

"Well, are you thirsty? Want a snack or anything? I have plenty to eat and drink if you do." she says without looking at me.

"Yeah, I'll take something to drink. What do you have?" I clear my throat and look away.

"Follow me." She simply walks away and I can't help but follow. I hate to see her go but I love to watch her walk away!

When we get to the kitchen she opens the fridge, listing off everything she had available to drink.

"I have Coke, sweet tea, milk-" she starts but I stop her before she continues.

"I'll take Coke, thanks." I tell her nodding as I lean on the kitchen island watching her.

"I think I'll have one too. Let's go in here. Do you want to watch tv or something? I really don't know what to do. I haven't had a guy over in ages, what do you like to do?" she rambles out making me laugh.

I let her sit down first so I can figure out where I'm sitting from there. I want to be as close as she'll let me without scaring her away since she seems to be nervous.

She sits on one side of the couch and I sit on the other side which isn't too far since you can only fit about three people on here. I try not to stare at her legs as she brings her feet up on the couch to get comfy.

"You know, you don't have to be nervous around me, you can relax." I give her a genuine smile hoping it will help.

"Haha, nervous, what, no. I'm just, uh," she swallows hard "ok fine." she laughs nervously "You're right I'll just relax." she breaths out, more to herself but I heard it then she grabs the blanket on the back of the couch to cover her arms.

"Soo, whatcha been doing?" I ask her looking at the tv.

"Just been chillin' on the couch watching Netflix. You?" she looks at me waiting patiently.

I just stare at her for a second smiling

"What?" she says looking at me weird but can't stop her smile.
