hi, i'm sure you've all been made aware of the situation regarding former skz member woojin

if not, i'll offer a very brief and oversimplified summary: woojin has been accused of sexual assault. for a more in-depth explanation, i suggest reading the 'kwj' highlight on the @/skijeu instagram page. i will link a twitter post on my message board where someone analyses his 'apology' and the inconsistencies it contains, including his self-promo within the post and a mention of his new agency (whose instagram was created very soon after the accusation blew up online)

even though i don't know for sure whether or not woojin actually did the things he was accused of, i will believe the victim until i have a reason not to

as someone who has been through sexual harassment/assault before on several occasions, seeing this has been hard for me, and i know it's been hard for others in similar situations. i remember how helpless i felt when nobody believed me– or if they did, they blamed me for what happened. i would never wish that feeling upon another person, whether i know them personally or not. so in this situation, i will believe the victim. if op was lying, that's not my fault. but i'd rather accidentally defend a liar than support a potential rapist/abuser

i would like to politely request you keep your hate out of my comments section. whether it be against woojin or his accuser, i don't need that negativity on my page. if you have something to contribute to a discussion in my comments section, feel free to do so, but please don't attack each other either

but i do have a question for you not directly in reference to the situation: should i simply discontinue woojin-centred books like babysitter and summer camp or should i delete them completely? this situation has weighed heavily on my heart and hearing about/seeing him has only made me feel worse, and i'm sure i'm not the only person who feels this way. if those stories bother you, please let me know so i can avoid inflicting pain or harm on any of you. i don't want any of you to hurt more than you already may be

please keep skz out of it. don't talk about it on chan's live this week. woojin is a FORMER member of skz, and the current members have dealt with enough pain already from his leaving. refrain from bringing it up to chan, positive or negative. chan's lives are a joyful safe place for stays and for chan, and that kind of animosity and problem-seeking is unnecessary
