Blue Point Of View.

"You want me to do what?"

"I want you to come with us and meet my mom. I know it is last minute but I think you'll like her." Bella tells me and I think my eyes are still a bit large.

"No thank you Bella. I already have plans."

"Well, can't you just cancel them." Bella says to me

"It is a fundraiser at the school for the nature club.  We are making homemade treats and selling them to help the beaches down at La Push.  People have been leaving their trash on the sand recently and it ends up in the ocean."

"For La Push?"  Bella asks and I nod my head and continue doing what I am doing in the kitchen.

I know where this conversation is going to lead and it is always about Jacob.  Then again, he isn't talking to her.

He really needs space so he can actually get over her and move on but it is like he just won't let go.  Like there is something chaining him to love her despite knowing she is in love with someone else.

"He still needs time Bella."

"I just want to speak to him and make things right."  Bella tells me and I stop what I am doing and look at her.

"You told him how you felt.  You told him that you will always choose Edward.  You did exactly what he needed to hear.  Now you have to give him space so he can move on."

"I know but...but there has to be something I can do or say to...I don't know."  Bella stutters and I know she is stressed about it.

She is with Edward most of the time so she is normally smiling and relaxed but when he is not around and Jacob is mentioned...

I can't tell her where he is or what he is doing.  His dad is hoping my new friendship with his son will help but it is only doing so much.

I can't don't anything about Jacob's broken heart.  The only thing I can do is lend a hand, shoulder, or an invitation to take his mind off it.

"Edward thinks I should just leave him alone."  Bella tells me

"You mean completely or just give him space?"

I have a feeling that my first set of words is what Edward is thinking.  Well, Jacob is in love with his girlfriend and the girl he is in love with.  Messy love triangles.  Glad I'm not in one.

"I think he means completely but Jacob is my best friend."  Bella tells me and this is the first time in a while that we have had a meaningful and long conversation about what is going on with her.

"I've already told Jacob to respect your relationship and your choice."

"I just want Jacob to talk to me."  She states looking sad and I know it is genuine.  Bella loves her best friend and they have known each other since they were young.
